You can swim in the waters off Florida but the North California coast is just so beautiful.

Northern or central California coast is beautiful and deserted, there's never a lot of people there except by the Bay Area. The water is a lot colder than Southern California and there's a shitload of sharks. I loved going up there and getting away from the crowds
Northern California, nature can be amazing
and Florida is way too humid and hot
north california appeals more but both look beautiful
Definitely Florida. Cali doesn't appeal to me at all

I would choose florida. There are many pretty places in Florida but there are more pretty places in North california. But the political structure there is so horrible that I wouldn't even travel there on a vacation
Florida has warmer water, so is better for enjoying the beach. But it is terribly humid (I have lived there), terribly flat (not beautiful mountains), gets shredded by hurricanes every year, and is home to some of the worst politicians!
Sorry, Florida is too crowded, too humid, too hot. If Those are my only choices, No Cal
I'd NEVER live in Commiefornia. Florida may be filled with meth heads, but at least they aren't woke pretentious morons.
Tough one. I was near the coast of California for two weeks and then was in Oregon for almost 2 years. I've never been to Florida. So I'll pick Florida.
I was born & raised and, again, live in NorCal.
I live in California, on the coast, but the water is cold.
Florida because of political policy differences.
Florida. The real problem with California is the people not the landscape.
The weather is much nicer in NC, and not as susceptible to hurricanes.
The Out Banks of North Carolina gets hit by hurricanes more than Florida does. Hurricanes follow the Gulf Stream and it is closest to the coast at Cape Hatteras. The Gulf Stream is furthest out to sea at Jacksonville, Florida.
@MikeInHawaii I respectfully disagree. Data shows 413 hurricanes and tropical storms hit NC since 1900, while 500 hit Florida. Also, storms are often more severe when striking Florida, they tend to diminish by the time they hit NC. Less intensity at NC is also due to most storms being over the Gulf Stream, and the strongest Eastside winds are at sea, while a storm in the Gulf has the strongest winds on land in Florida.
Florida or California? Neither!
Florida is the south's trashcan. And California is basically Mexico with a bigger GDP.
Southwestern Pennsylvania would be fine with me but stay away from states that are hazard
You can swim in northern California; if you don't mind 50°F water.
Florida sucks. I'd rather live anywhere else.
I seriously doubt that second picture is North Carolina!
@MCheetah I caught that and couldn’t delete my post. I need to stop trying to read things on my cell phone without my glasses!
It's like asking if you're a republicuck or a democrat
I’d rather travel to either. Best part about being in middle america.
I live in California but would like to visit Florida.
Neither Florida is about to have another hurricane out hounds there now
N Cali no question.
