Strongly depends on the vehicle:) Every comfort oriented car with automatic. Manuel transmission for older sportier cars because back then automatic transmission wasn’t too sporty…
I prefer manual , more fun to drive but a nightmare in traffic , but I’ve been driving them since I was 16 unfortunately there aren’t that many manuals around anymore
I love and prefer a manual 100 times. However, thE lack of availability supplemented by lower resale value stopped me from retaining manual after my first car in USA.
Manual is way easier for me since I got used to these cars. You can simply manage the speed control in accordance with manual gears. I have learned driving through a manuar car.
It depends on the vehicle, if something like an economy car or midsizedsedan automatic. Those manual are bottom of the barrel transmissions built to be cheap and terrible instead of fun. In a sports car manual.

I used to prefer manual. The last time that I owned one was about 15 years ago though. Now I prefer automatic.
Mine has both options.
I put it in automatic when I'm going through city traffic and I enjoy the manual control when driving down an open road
I prefer the automatic because I know how to drive that kind
Strongly depends on the vehicle:)

Manual. The feel of controlling the gears is awesome. Automatic is too robotic.
In SUV automatic, in coupe stick
automatic you can easily use your phone, stick is a lot of fun if you have a good car tho
Im lazy and I dont like fast cars. Ill stick with automatic
Always drove manual, never expected to change OH only drives auto so we now have an auto. It is easier but I do still prefer manual
Auto…
Must be a good top end car though, cheaper auto’s are not all that!
Both depending on make, model, year and reason and where driving.
No preference. I can drive most anything with wheels, and a few things with tracks.
Manual forever! Well , untill all cars become electric. :(

I like manual, but traveling the Orange County parking lot... freeways, automatic is preferable.
I've never driven a manual, I'd probably be pretty bad at it
Manual.
- Cheaper.
- Easier to maintain.
- Lighter.
- Better off road or in bad weather.
@brando10222 I prefer a car with an automatic transmission because it's less stressful.
