Guys, Do you know anyone who gets around town by mule?

I have a friend from Nebraska, and he has a mule. He said he was heading to town, and asked if I wanted to ride along. Well, I was running low on gerbil food, so I jumped on board.

Mules are very stubborn, so they sometimes need a bit of motivation.

Nebraska: Giddy up, Sandy. (nothing) that's once.

Nebraska: Giddy up, Sandy. (nothing) that's twice.

Nebraska: Giddy up, Sandy. (nothing)

(Nebraska reaches in the back and grabs his ax handle.)(Sandy got the message)

Gummy: Nebraska, you dirty rotten scoundrel! I better not ever catch you being mean to Sandy, again.

Nebraska: Gummy, just be quiet and enjoy the ride.

Gummy: Don't tell me to be quiet!

Nebraska: That's once.

What does it mean?

(I've heard this one, except the man bought his wife from a farmer and shot one of the horses on the traces. Maybe parables are darker in West Virginia.)

I no longer work for him, and I'm not sure if he got ground up or not. He had two German Sheppard he ordered from Germany. He paid many thousands for them. They only understood German commands. He said if a burglar broke into his home. The dogs wouldn't budge until he gave the German command. If he did, the burglar was ground into gerbil food. I asked him what the command was, but he wouldn't tell me. Only him and his wife knew. His kids didn't even know. He said it was too dangerous to tell people. lol

Sounds awfully contrived, but I have heard of such things. Does he know that German Shepards can be obtained in the states? And simply taught a German command?

These dogs were highly trained attack dogs. My brother has a lab that can read five words on sheets of paper. He said that dog trainers don't train dogs, they train their human owners. So my brother spent the 73,000 hours teaching his dog to read, not the trainer. As for money, this guy had more than he knew what to do with.

I heard that a guy had just got married. He was taking his wife on their honeymoon. This was the old days. They were travelling by horse and buggy, As they were going down the road the guy decides he has to pee. He hollers at the horse WHOA. The horse kept going. He hollers again WHOA. and the horse keep going. He stands u and pulls back om the reins and yells WHOAAA. Finally the horse stops. The guy gets off the bugge and looke the horse in the eye and says "That's one." He goes behind a tree and takes a leak and gets back on the buggy and they resume theur trip. About ten miles down the road he spots a river and decides they need to get some water. He yells WHOA. and the horse keeps going. He stands up and pulls on the reins as hard as he could and the horse comes to a stop. He gets off the buggy wit hthe canteen and looks the horse in the eye and says "That's two" . He gets back on the buggy and they continue down the road. He sees a tree fallen in the road and he yells WHOA, WHOA. and the horse kept going. The guy pulls back on the reins just before the wagon hit the tree. The guy quietly gets off the wagon and walks over to the horse and pulls his pistol out of the holster and shoots the horse going blank between the eyes. He wife screams "you , maniac, what the hell did you do that for. ?"The guy looked at his wife and said :"Thats one"

Remember Michael? He didn't have any mules growing up. The closest he got to a mule was an old sheep at Old Sturbridge Village in Massachusetts. Which isn't very close to Nebraska. And the sheep wasn't very close to being a mule. No, Michael drove a Pontiac Bonneville. The SE trim level. It was a metallic blue color. Very spiffy.

Michael drove the Bonneville around. He felt good in it. Missy liked it. Missy was gorgeous. Way better looking than a mule. She was... she was the one who got away. Because it was with Missy that Michael didn't read the room. It wasn't that he talked to much. But he also wasn't quiet and that stopped him from paying attention. Didn't read the room on that one.

But, yeah. My landlord gets around by mule. He has a BMW. And, I am a cultured man. I know that it is Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft. But my landlord has the 'M' version. That means the engine isn't horsepower, it's mulepower. So, yeah, I know someone who gets around town by mule.

If I didn't have any family, I'd flee this snow country and move to Florida. I get to ask a question in two hours. I like to keep it light and joke a bit. But this is true. Why in the hell did they put a Hooters on the beach in Fort Lauderdale? It makes no sense. lol I took my boyfriend there, and he didn't want to leave the beach. I thought it was so funny. Hooters should be in Montana or Wyoming, but NOT on the Fort Lauderdale beach.

The plane ride was fine. The airport was fine. But when I opened the door and felt the Florida heat and humidity, my knees buckled. I'd never experienced that before. I saw these guys laying hot pavement, and I just couldn't imagine what that must be like.
Never been to the Miami Hooters. Where would you move if you could?
