A man from Dublin told me it's a country populated by Scottish and Irish people. Well, indigenous people before the Scotch/Irish settlers arrived in the 19th century. Like how the USA and Australia were founded by English settlers.

The language is Gaelic and English. The people eat haggis and curry chips. And it apparently has the biggest Highland Games and St Patrick's Day parades outside of Scotland and Ireland. There may be more Asians and diversity there today, like US and Australia, but still a Scottish and Irish stronghold.

I don't know about Scottish, but there were a shitton of Irish that immigrated to Québec in the 1800s, which is why despite being French, their music sounds like this...

As for it being a Scottish and Irish colony, no never. The British took it from the French in the mid-1700s, so it was a British colony. The province is part of Canada now, but is basically French, at least the southern part.

As for Asians, they're almost none existent in Québec, and when they go there for tourism, they aren't treated very well and rightfully so.

Québec has very few minorities actually. Most of the minorities in Quebec are indigenous people and Arabs from the former French colonies in North Africa and the Levant. Blacks and Asians are almost non-existent, which is wonderful. Québec is a typically White territory. It's one of the last bastions of Whiteness in the world, and one of the last examples of what the West was like before before diversity came about. And unlike other Whites in the West, the Québecois are extremely proud of their heritage and are very respectful to their fellow Whites!

I don't think I've ever felt so safe and comfortable and seen so many pleasant people in one place. That place is almost perfect! God bless that place!

I always thought it was French. I've heard of French Canadians, but not Irish Canadians.
