Throughout the province of Quebec, it is dominated by people from other countries and everybody lives in harmony and speaks multiple languages.
You pop over to Ontario (Ottawa, Windsor and even downtown Toronto) and Vancouver, and it's like a Trump rally. At least by comparison. 🤔
This was my observation in Canada as a tourist.

Quebec is a French speaking province in Canada who want to secede from Canada. They cannot stand English speaking Canadians or Americans.
I don't know where you got that impression from, because I'm an English speaking American, who's French skills are practically useless and I didn't have any problems. They treated me very well, and most people speak English. In restaurants and shops, if one employee doesn't speak English, one who does will immediately rush over to help, or they'll communicate with you with gestures.
I honestly didn't have any problems, even when I told them I'm from California. From what I hear, it's Asians and Indians that they treat poorly, but if you're White, they'll treat you very well, even if you don't speak French.
I fucking LOVE the Quebecois! It's the rest of Canadians who will treat you like shit if you're an American.
I don't blame them for wanting to secede. They SHOULD secede. The rest of Canadians are SHIT! The Quebecois are NOTHING like them.

I used to officiate minor league hockey and got to know lots of Canadian dudes.

To be honest, I did meet some Quebecois a few times. They looked white, and they were cool mostly.
I never encountered English speaking Canadians though.
