Help Me Make A Quick Decision?

I have to book a flight to London for next month NOW (I’m deciding on two options)

Option 1: Emirates flight that stops at Dubai for 2hrs 30 mins ($2400)

Option 2: Qatar flight that stops at Doha for 3hrs 25mins ($1600)

is one safer than the other? any good/bad experience with either?

There's way not enough information here.

We don't know what's more important to you: time or money. If money, pick the cheapest. Both airlines are great. If time, pick the airport closest to your destination.

The plane really doesn't matter; those airlines have a good safety record.

You also don't tell us what class or seat that dollar amount pays for. That matters.

both are great airlines. emirates is really nice. i'd save the $800. i mean a layover is a layover, an extra hour or so isn't of much consequence if you have to layover regardless

Just take British Airways and you can fly nonstop for a lot less. I think American has that also.

Nope , just take the cheapest , plenty to do there for the extra hour , its the same thing.

Oh sorry , didn't pick up on 2nd Airport , but , have checked in with my mate ( aviation dude ) he agreed take the cheapest , he has been to both , for me only top one.
