In your own opinion which one country or city that is around the world do you consider to be super overrated?

If my question confuses you men and women you usually hear online about countries or cities which tend to be usually talk about all the time. Most media influencer people would constantly take pictures of specific countries or cities but you as the individual actually did travel to that country or city and found it to vastly over hyped and doesn't understand the appeal of the country or city. Ladies and Gentlemen what country or city you didn't really feel was that special! Personally to me while I still love to travel someday to France I generally think the capital city Paris isn't this mystical and magical place people glorified it as. I hasn't went there but I already can tell it going to be like any other city especially since I been watching YouTube videos and hearing about this Paris Syndrome but I never stood why Paris Syndrome existed? I mean it is a large city of course crime, poverty and garbage are going to be there but I am still interested in France but I definitely can tell the actual country real be also crime filled but I normally know what you have to do keep everything you own with close eyes and stay safe but I ain't interested in Paris though I don't want to travel there but that's just me what about you ladies and gentlemen which country or city you feel get so much praise but you can expect it just over glorify and the reality of the place wasn't as "magical" like movies and tv shows protray it as?

New York (Manhattan). Everybody seems to like it very much, but I found it the most boring city I have ever been to; the streets are very straight, with intersections at fixed intervals, which are equally straight streets. So walk to the next crossing, and everything looks the same again (It felt like Neo in The Matrix Revolutions; the scene where he tries to walk out of the underground train station and ends up in the same station again). They didn't even bother to name the streets; they just gave them numbers.

I think Caribbean holidays. Most of the time you have to stay in the resort anyway. Oh and Cape Verde. So boring, just hotels.

No, I'm not European. I'm not from Portugal, I just live in Portugal. Portugal is super old Lol
You only see modern buildings in touristic areas or in rich people's neighborhoods.

Honestly I can't tell you if I miss Angola or not because I have no memories of my country.
What does Angola have to offer? First of all it's my country, it's my home. Then it has a better weather, I suppose that people are nicer. Things would be easier there since I wouldn't be a foreigner. Salaries are higher.
So far, I've been living more in Portugal.
