Ever rode the bus is a different city than normal?

i have to ride the bus in 2 weeks when i'm in this different city for the weekend , issue is my hotel is too far away from destination so can't take a taxi as it be way too much $$ but is a bus i can take for under $ 5 but might take like an hour to get there so seems to be better option but never rode the bus in that city before and not really sure what to expect really , public transit gets such a bad rap these days

it didn't go that well , took like 2 hrs and i had to take 2 buses not 1 as i first was told online , so wasted some of my time that night when i could of been elsewhere

Most buses are safe according to the news. The assaults usually happen on subways if it happens at all. I told my cousin I was scared to ride the Toronto subway when she came to Canada for a visit so we paid hundreds for a taxi to and from Toronto.

i took a taxi on the way home , think bus didn't run that late anyways as it was like 1 am by then and it cost $50 to get back to the hotel
