Where is a place you would like to retire?

Any place in any country. I would retire somewhere on the Mediterranean, or on some Caribbean island.

Philippines. They speak English, their government is stable and the cost of living is low. It has deep tropics to subtropical highlands like Baguio. Good beaches and plenty of local food.

Sanibel Island, Florida. It has nice beaches, places to kayak and it is really a laid back place. It is a short ride to Ft Myers to watch the Red Sox have spring training.

I/We prefer to remain in the US.  I have homes in other locations (foreign & domestic) already and, if I/we get bored, we'll simply go to those properties until we get bored there as well.

I've thought about this. The Gold Coast of Australia or Barcelona Spain are at the top of my list. Realistically, though, my retirement will probably be in my living room recliner with a six-pack of beer and a bag of potato chips.
