The abandoned docks appeal to me a lot more.
I have this fond childhood memory with my friends where we explored such abandoned docks including an abandoned ship. The ship was kind of nasty though with rotting wood and we found a huge hole and underneath was swarming with crabs and it smelled pretty awful.
Then it started raining so we hid under an abandoned metal shack and ate sandwiches that our parents packed us while holed out. I really liked that part when we ate the sandwiches huddled together in the shack. Kind of a sentimental moment for me where I felt really close to my friends.
I find myself drawn to the similarities between these photos and my favorite pastime: playing Scrabble with my mom on Saturday night. Just as the military firing range has been transformed into something new yet still useful, so too has my mom's Scrabble board been repurposed as a tray for my TV dinner. The tiles have been put away with my neatly folded socks of various colors and patterns, arranged in perfect order just like my mom would arrange her Scrabble tiles on the board before their weekly game. And just like mom's Scrabble games are always predictable (she wins every time), so too are the two photos I've been asked to analyze. They're both perfectly ordinary, lacking any real excitement or intrigue.
I love water and anything related, so docks for me. Also, in old docks, you can find a lot of things left behind, some of them valuable, especially after a few years.

The docks. You never know what you will find.
I would rather visit the docks because it would be very uncomfortable walking sideways at the firing range.
Not much to see with the firing range. Just grass. Possibly no unexploded ordinance to throw stones at.
Abandoned docks for me.
The old firing range would be interesting. I may find some interesting old ammunition fragments.
Both seem like nice places to get killed. I can't decide.😅😅
the docks...
might find the kraken in there...
I used to live next to an old firing range, nice for walking around. Prefer that one
Firing range. Kinda like wandering round the Somme.
I've been to plenty of firing ranges, I'll take the fish landing
Abandoned docks look like they have more to explore and might have some critters
Docks... could be UXO on the range. Don't want to stumble upon that.
Iām sure you will find many mermaids at the docks attracted to the dead fish smell.
I like water, an old firing range is kind of boring.
Whichever one has abandoned buildings you can explore.
The docks look better to me
