I chose I live in New Jersey and like it but I actually don't live there anymore but I still like it. Hell, I love it! Although I've only lived in South Jersey, I've visited North Jersey and it's kind of like night and day but despite my dislike for North Jersey, I will say overall I love New Jersey. Everything about it is nice. The people there are way better than the people in the south as far as not being nosy goes. They keep to themselves but are still very nice welcoming folks in South Jersey.

The weather is great in the summer and fall! I particularly love the fall weather there. And lastly they have a Wawa! I miss Wawa mostly for getting my coffee. I don't drink coffee anymore because the coffee is not great down in South Carolina. You have to go to Starbucks to get a decent cup of Joe which is just way too expensive.

Also, the beaches are fantastic! Ocean City Beach and boardwalk is beautiful! If you haven't visited there you definitely should!

Yes Wawa!!! I miss Wawa as well and I am from South Jersey as well, compared to where I live now , I still consider Jersey my home town even though I haven’t lived there for a long time now , I do visit family and friends there as much as I can. , mainly in the summertime to be close to the beaches , a lot of my friends have beach houses in Wildwood so I usually end up there and love it. I would move back if I could land a decent paying job there cuz taxes are high there , but if the right opportunity came along I would lean to moving back for sure , Every time I visit , I don’t want to leave.

I lived in both Ocean City and Glassboro. But yes I miss it as well! Wish I could move back but I can't seem to land a good paying job myself there. Every time I visit I don't want to leave either. Where do you live now?

NJ baby! Jersey is in a class of it's own, kinda pissed off about all the NY'ers coming here making a ton of traffic but whatever, they always wished Staten Island could be replaced with us anyway.

Paterson falls is nice but go a little more north to the ramapo mountains and you'll have some nice trails to walk through. Or on your way out of Paterson falls, you can go to Hackensack and try a slider from white mana.

You'll be close to the diner Capitol of America so you'd be doing yourself a favor to check out chit-chat which is open 24/7 near Ridgefield Park. Not far from met life stadium. We got Wawa and QuickChek which is pretty neat.

And if you spend enough time in the area you'll see some pretty cool cars.

But the best thing about this place are all the people you'll meet. Lots of interesting people here.

My memory of the state per se is minimal. I DID like it more than New York City in NY, that's for sure. And there was a surprising amount of farmland.

We had a great meal going through there in the borough of Shrewsbury (I'll never forget THAT name). It was a medium-sized, sit down cafe and this was 25-30 years ago. It was NOT a chain restaurant. Even though the dishes were simple in nature, the presentation was absolutely top-drawer, nicer than places at 3 times their reasonable prices, and the servers actually liked working there (or maybe they were just good actors, but I don't think they were faking it). The servers even made sure that the plate had the entree placed closest to the diner- just great with all the details, often overlooked in restaurants today.

I was born and raised in South New Jersey , I loved it there and still Consider it my home even though I haven’t lived there for a long time now , I still have a lot of Family and friends there , so I visit as often as I can , I love the oceans and boardwalks , I love the food and flat roads and weather , I love that I don’t have to pump my own gas into my car lol the only thing I don’t care for is the taxes to live in that state Taxes there are outrageous but other than that I love New Jersey

I would visit Red Bank because of Clerks and Chasing Amy. I’d avoid any place near where Jersey Shore was filmed, and I’d visit the more rural areas
