New Jersey (the U. S.' very own toxic waste dump) was always the lefty liberal wish-they-were New Yorkers state. At some point, they squeaked a few Republicans into office, but this election was the first time I have ever heard NJ referred to as, "a swing state."

There was an episode of "What Would You Do"? They had a guy wear a MAGA hat and had another guy harass him to see if people would defend him, and they said they chose to film it in New Jersey, because New Jersey has a mixed population of Liberals and Conservatives
