Never been. It’s kind of far for me, and I went to 6th Street in Austin, TX, who someone told me is about comparable to the Bourbon Street scene in New Orleans, so I don’t know if I’ll ever go out of my way to get there. Probably a good time though👍

  Cafe Du Monde is unique to NOLA. Also there's a lot more than Burbon Street.

  @Twalli yeah, don’t mean to reduce either city to just their bar strip, haha. Probably a little more flavor to Bourbon St, 6th Street in Austin didn’t have a super distinct character to it, it was just fun and it was massive. Had some “Texas” to it, I guess, but only some bars, other than being able to drink Lone Stars, haha. I’ll have to look more into New Orleans, maybe I’ll get there someday

  It's an old city, but also poor. We stayed at an RV park that catered to the wealth, so we weren't near the poorest parts. Ome guy where we stayed jad a rolls royce.
  
  Most people who drive RVs also tow a car so thry can drive around without the RV, because it can be up to 40 feet long and go up slightly higher than bus's roof.

Yes, my wife and I spent a few days in the French Quarter during COVID. It was interesting, food was great, though I'm not sure I want to visit again.

  She's writing a book on Savitar. I always liked Styxx thermostat. Makes sense since I also like Julien from her SciFi series.

  I do also like Julian too. And many others.
  I agree. I was a bit leery when diving into Styxx myself but he turned out to be one of the purest characters in the bunch. Such a great read, so well done.
  
  I have a spare copies of Styxx and Acheron in my backpack for downtimes. They never get old.

  I thi k she's goid at presenting supposed villians as good or at least less evil. Thr first DH story I read was with Aricles and it said to read Styxx for the continuation of the story. Nit really much if a continuation until near the end of the book.
