Not for a guy I have never met or a "potential" boyfriend but for a man I exclusively dated for many years.

My then-boyfriend (now-husband) & I were sometimes 7,000+ miles apart and missed each other so much that we'd fly across the great Pacific Ocean to be together.

We met in high school and dated in college.

That's how long ago we've known each other.

Despite being born in the USA, I have family roots in the Philippines.

I moved there in 2000 after we broke up.

However, we stayed friends, kept in touch and realized how much we were still in love with each other.

So, he'd fly to the Philippines to visit me occasionally.

And, I'd fly back to California to be with him and visit my family at the same time.

Eventually, we got tired to the LDR and he decided to move to the Philippines to be with me.

Later on, we mutually agreed to return here in California in '19 to get married.

I dated somebody who lived 1500 miles away. We met in college and we both transferred to different schools. The first time I went out to see her I drove the 1500 miles in about 30 hours.
