Have you ever gone scuba diving?

A little nervous about it. Hoping to hear some stories and recommendations. Also suggestions on what color gear and wetsuit to get?

I got certified 10 years ago. Take the On-line-classes and get affiliated with a good dive school to attend after the on-line studies. Most suits are black, trimmed in some bright colors - mine is trimmed in blue. When you buy, buy good gear, but don't go crazy and get Scuba Pro, first.

I would recommend getting a Steel Tank rather than aluminum, as steel will not drag you back to the surface when it is getting empty. I suggest an 80' CF tank as it is small enough to not feel like a 'water heater on your back in the water. I dive with the 80 and not the 100 that I have - both steel

I've been as a part of a group experience thing. It was fun. Colour of doesn't really matter, get whatever you want. Probably want a long sleeve/leg suit though. They're a bitch to put on

I've seen some that zip from the front. And I know one person who loves the shoulder zip suits. Just wondering how much air you used up during your dive.

yes, and whas cool, at the end of the day when we did the second diving the water whas a bit too cold but nothing to scary.
You start from a low level water for divin 8m maximum under water and them posible move with the boath to a deeper level like 15m and you are in a grup, get instruction for saftey, comunication and how to use the equipment.
It will be like you are actualy flying, there will be no gravity and you some time are able to control with your boy if you go more deep and touch the bottom of the sea or ocean. Is a very lovley experiacence, i encourage you to try it and have no fear.
