Has anyone here done scuba diving?

Me and my old man did the pool training session recently in prep for the open water dive coming up.

I'm rescue certified through Padi. A good ammount of my dives were on Lake Powell. I think I'm at 112 dives logged. I just enjoy water in any way shape or form. Enjoy snowboarding, swimming, drinking it especially, hot tubs, hot springs, love the rain. I need to be in water occasionally just to feel alive. I like the carribean.

Yes, I used to do it a lot. I was a certified PADI diver. It was a lot of fun.

@ScotchTape I am allergic to lobsters but I used to get them for my father. I never found anything of value except once i went diving for a set of underwater lights that somebody dropped over the side.

Ocean dive or fresh water? I did my cert. dive at Laguna at Divers Cove, and got signed off there. I have around 35 dives to date, most of them being 'shore dives' rather than boat dives. Have made several at Catalina at the Dive Park

Don't live near the ocean, so fresh water. It would be in one of the larger and deeper lakes around me.

I hope you do go to 'Florida or California, at some point to see the marine life there.

I would like to for sure. Just a matter of saving money for the trip and the dive for me and the old man.

Tried it some time back but couldn't handle the pressure. Literally. After the first day of ocean diving I had severe ear pain and couldn't do the next day to get certified. It was really uncomfortable for about 2 weeks and I had to cancel a hiking trip I had planned for the following weekend. Hadn't had a problem in the pool

The ocean dive was at Catalina off Casino Point.

Scuba is enjoyable.

I've done a bit of scuba diving with a friend who was certified.

The rules can be a bit annoying for a spontaneous kind of guy like me, but they are necessary to safety.

Thats one thing i dont ever intend to do. I’d cliff dive but not scuba dive. I have no interest in seeing the creatures under the sea unless i’m watching The Little Mermaid or something
