I’ve been to both and I thought Turkey was more interesting but I only visited one place in Turkey cause it was one day of our full week cruise.

I've been to Turkey, and it's one of those places that's better to explore with a local friend. Turkey is far more interesting, but it's a bit of a mess right now. Especially as a solo Western woman, I wouldn't go.

Argentina is probably better, especially if you have a friend there.

In the coastal cities, YES. Just not inside the mosques/churches. Further inland in the more Conservative/traditional areas, it's less common, but if you do, no one will scold you or beat you. At Pamukkale I even saw women walking around in thong bikinis.

Unless you're planning to visit Konya or the Kurdish regions, I wouldn't really worry about it. In those places it's suggested to be less revealing out of respect, but if you aren't, I doubt anyone will make a fuss.
