Mine was Havana about 8 years ago

I think Turkey. Even though people kept ripping me off and the food was disappointing, but the pros still outweighed the cons.

Basically the country had everything I like and it's probably the most Western friendly Muslim country.

Also, I went there during COVID in what would normally be peak season, and there were fewer tourists than usual. The place felt like it was just being discovered.

One of my favorite is the Grand Canyon. I've been there several times.

I want to a hotel in Antigua when I was 21 and there were lovely beaches, very nice bar tenders and great cultural foods. The best part was the conversation.

My favourite place will always be Iceland, to be exact - my dad's backyard, in his jacuzzi, with a ice cold Egils Gull - overlooking the mountains.

Cape Canaveral Florida. I find it amusing awe inspired by what human ingenuity can achieve. I know the common attitude these days is to view humanity as some sort of cancer but I find humans and what we accomplish to be beautiful. We are the only species on the planet that changes our environment to suit us. And I think we are only beginning to tap into our potential.

Off of the coast of Florida there is an old section of interstate that was sunk to form an artificial reef. About 70 feet below the surface is one of the best places to visit…

There is a lady who I normally travel with once a year and we are thinking of going this year. Do you have any opinion on how late we can go in May, before the summer crowd hits? We want to avoid the summer rush. We also want to explore the Maine coastline going to places other than Bar Harbor also.
