In terms of travel, for me it is a split vote. Young Island resort in St. Vincent and the Grenadines is one and London, UK is the other.
In fact, back in my younger days I would take two overseas vacations a year. In December, before heading to Michigan - I live in the DC area - to see my family, I would go for a week to St. Vincent, get a sun tan and then head north to show it off to my relatives.
Then, in the Spring, the day after Easter Sunday I would take a two week trip to Europe, always making a point to end the trip - wherever else I went on the continent - for at least a few days in London. Love Britain and I love that city.
In the USA itself, Hawaii, New Orleans and where I live right here in Washington, DC gets my votes.

Maybe Sanibel Island in Florida.
A redwood forest.
Unfortunately, several of my favorite redwood forest locations burned up in the wild fires we had a few years ago. Most of the big redwoods survived (though not all), but nearly every other bit of infrastructure - including lots of small bridges, bathrooms, picnic tables, ranger dorms, park headquarters, museums, camp stores, storage buildings, signs, and much more - is all gone and has to be replaced before they will re-open these parks.
Still, of all of the many places I've been, it's the place I would choose to be above all others.
I have many and I'm not sure I can pick a favourite.
I like the cafes in Australia. I like the Casinos in Vegas. I like the beaches in Cuba. I like the shops in Spain. I like the temples in Japan. I like the islands in Korea. I like the subways in Russia. I like the castles in Portugal.
I actually have three places at even ranking:
- Ardèche, France
- Lueneburger Heide, Germany
- my couch
(each for its own individual reason)
The countryside. It's ironic, people say let's live in the city and visit the country, but I would never live there.
I say the opposite, there is only sin in ANY Big city anywhere in the whole wide world.Rome - love to visit the place. Not yet visited
I love the places which have beaches and dense forests. I also prefer historical places.
The middle of nature or the back of a good motorcycle on an empty canyon road.
Singapore- there is even a rain forest within city limits.
Iran 🇮🇷

Oh, wait you meant an actual physical place...
Then Colorado, definitely Colorado.
For right now the beach. I want to go to Japan someday though. Doubt I’ll ever do it though.
The beach. No where else on earth is more sublime and beautiful
Can't say it is my favourite but it is a place I definitely want to visit again and again Salar de Uyumi.
