The police did the only thing they are allowed to do. If they started arresting Pakistani child predator gang rapists they would be locking up virtually every Pakistani male.

At least they took the girl to safety. There was a case a few years ago where a 13 year old was locked up in a Pakistani house being gang raped by 10 men and when her father showed up to rescue her they arrested the father.
