Are holidays always too short?

You know the feeling: one week off doesn't really count much, two weeks off seems to be the time needed to forget about work, three weeks off to fully enjoy being away.

Do you think that holidays are always too short? My neighbours are both teachers, they have more than 2 months off during the summer and still think it's not enough. They are more stressed out at the end of their 'break' than when they start their holidays in July.

1 week for Thanksgiving

2-3 weeks for vacation

7 sixk days off with pay
