I guess if one lives in a particular place he is likely going to think it sucks, but for those who just come and visit these same places think it is great as they just have that short time experience.

No, I have always liked Atlanta. I lived there for a few years and was very happy there.
I attended Emory in 1971 and 1972, and it was quite different in those days. It is still not a bad place to visit, but I would hate to live there.
@OlderAndWiser try living in Kansas City. Its terrible. Living in Atlanta at least you can drive to the ocean.
@Hellraiser1984 The driving time from Atlanta to the nearest point of the Atlantic Ocean is 4½-5 hours.
Im willing to drive that far. All we have are some lakes and rivers. Usually with dead bodies in them.
