Do you all think dekalb co have there own city or should they be annexed into the city of Atlanta?

There has been a debate in ATL for years about what's ATL and what's not. Surrounding cities think they are ATL such as dekalb co which certain cities in dekalb sit just outside of ATL such as Decatur on the east hapeville college park and east point sit just outside the city. Now my thing is Georgia needs another big city anyways. I lived in east Atlanta and dekalb county and I've had to tell folks in dekalb that Decatur is not east Atlanta. Now on the other side folks on the outskirts want to be ATL so bad now I for one agree that Georgia should have two major cities. now I've heard rumors that there will be a city of dekalb. I think there should actually be a city of dekalb if not then certain parts of dekalb such as Glenwood, candler, McAfee, flat shoals, panthersville, columbia Dr. Should be annexed into the city of ATL especially if they are going to de annex buckhead.

I used to live in Dekalb county but moved out of state. Used to be not far from flat shoals. Would be interesting to see if the areas you mentioned became part of the ATL.

Reminds me of suburbs near Philly. You ask someone from South Ampton, Norristown, Upper Darby where theyre from, they say Philly.
