Where is your favourite Scandinavian country?

Mine is of course Denmark since it has a lot of opportunities and things to do varying from dining to excursion in the countryside. There's also bridge accession to Sweden and driving road to Germany at anytime. What is yours? 🇩🇰

My grandparents came from Finland. I haven't been, but I want to some day. Without having been to any, my heritage makes me biased and so I choose Finland. I have been to Iceland, but I don't believe that counts officially as Scandinavia, but it's an awesome place!

Iceland is officially not a part of Scandinavia itself but it's considered as a Nordic country. Iceland alwats fascinates me since it contains a lot of different terrains and natural structures such as hot water sources like kettle and icy permafrost formations ☺️ Finland is so nice but it's not for me though for being too quiet and isolated ☺️

I have been to them all. Plus Finland, so all of the Nordic countries too. Most of my time was spent in Copenhagen and I was there un excess of 10 times. I too would pick Denmark but compared to the rest of Europe, I would pick elsewhere if offered beyond these three.

Yes, I enjoyed it and spent most of my time in the Nyhavn area. I stayed at many of their hoteks there and really enjoyed the Glyptotec museum which is my favorite.

Well, I have spent three weeks total in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, I know nothing about Finland or Iceland. All three countries have beautiful, generous and kind people and interesting culture and heritage. Starting with that average, and without much of a factual basis, my feelings were that Copenhagen is a bit more of a generic European city; Norwegians seemed a little more reserved though the terrain is jawdropping beautiful everwhere you go; and Sweden has it just right. But I would go back to any of them in a heartbeat. As tourist and cultural experiences out of 10 I guess I'd rate Sweden 9, Norway 8, Denmark 7. I have no real insight into what living there would be like.
