What about riding a kite or flying a skateboard 🤔

I’ve flown a few kites when I was a kid.
One of then was even home made , it was awesome we sent that thing to space

I always loved skateboarding but where I grew up we didn’t have skate culture so it was impossible to learn while young.
And I was never lightweight and nimble enough for it even later

But I’ve played every skateboard video game there is and I could name most of the tricks from memory

I rode a skateboard when I was younger. All kids in my neighbourhood did. I've got scars on hands and knees to prove it.

I never flew a kite out on the sea, but I handled one on the beach under the supervision of a family member who knew how to. The wind was so strong it lifted me up several times. The sea was too rough to even try it. I think I'd feel safer on wheels.

Oh, I love flying kites and often use my young nieces as an excuse to do it.

And a couple times while camping I have flown a kite from a canoe and that's kind of like the redneck version of waterboarding or something. 🤣

As far as skateboarding , we only have one tar road in town and we don't live on it and it's kinda' hard to skateboard on dirt.

I've heard the expression go and fly a kite, but I've never heard the expression go and ride a skateboard. 🤣

I think if someone give me the choice, I don't think I would do either one, I would just take take the hint, and leave them in peace, and hope they would be less bad tempered in future. 🤣

Skateboard. I never had the patience to enjoy the kite. Like you get it up there and then what?

Falling on my butt 1000 times to learn to Ollie... man I wish I could go back and re learn all that again!

Its the journey for me and then I want more! As soon as i got it, then whats next? 🙂
