Are you productive during your vacation?

I plan on not being productive until I return to my home in Canada. Right now, I am waiting for them to clean my room so I can go back to my sleeping area and nap. I bought internet yesterday, because they gave me a discount. My internet costs $14.99 USD a day, for 7-8 days. Great deal because I will be researching nutrition a lot.

in my family we believe that vacation is to relax the mind and body from your everyday routine, with the exception that we dont sleep in, as that would bring our inner clock out of rhythm.

so in school we learn, calculate and write a lot, meaning that we should avoid doing that, whilst still being productive. my first summer break i sold lemonades in our little cul-de-sac and then went from there. a man didn't like lemonades and asked if i had anything else to offer, but i only had water, which he also declined. after talking to my dad, we figured that we could invest the profits i've already made into a used electric orange juicer and sell freshly made orange juice for a higher price. from then on i didn't even need to squeeze the lemons by hand anymore, which was super hard back then.

at first i only saved my money, it was quite little anyway. but once i splurged some of it on nice things for me and quickly made up for it the vacations after, i was SO in.

my mom learns languages during her vacations, she knows 11 by now O. o

This winter is my vacation and I try to hibernate as much as possible! 🤣

Yes, as a family we're all productive and like to visit a few places depending on we're we go, tho sometimes it's nice to have a day being non productive and rest once I a while.
