I've seen the triangle ships that can float along and then speed off. Planes are gonna get dead compared to that shit. What I don't understand is why we're still lauching lawnmowers at each other in war like with the russia ukraine shit.

I lived right next to Edward's Air force base... I don't really think it's aliens... pretty much think it's us. I'm not sure if they will be replaced entirely, but vacuum trains will be a main means of transportation to travel from city to city. You'll be able to get from city to city in absolutely no time.

However, I think planes will evolve. There's a new material that AI developed that is as strong as steel, but is roughly 36 to 62 times lighter. That will play a large part in new aviation designs and will be allow us much more fuel efficiency.

We will see planes go out of style when the next big innovation in travel methods comes along.

i don't think so because... money. the same reason they refuse to use alternative materials for roads/tired. if governments can keep their greedy little hands on the money, then MAYBE. Personally, I think that's why they don't allow private spacecrafts yet. Because they are working on how to efficiently mine asteroids containing BILLIONS of dollars in rare earth minerals, but they haven't got it yet. THey can't risk private citizens getting their hands on that tech before they have it controlled.
