Anyone have plans for Memorial Day?

We are coming up on the unofficial start of summer. We have been waiting for this for months. Does anybody have any plans to do something cool?

The weather is not going to be great so I probably will just do chores around the house.

My guests requested chicken and pork ribs (like this pic from a few years ago), and one is also bringing some jalapeño cheese sausages. My girlfriend is making lumpia and other guests are bringing salads (potato & macaroni), fruit, veggies, chips, and drinks. Oh, and I'm also making two different kinds of deviled eggs. I bought 5 dozen eggs at Costco, and some thick-sliced bacon.

I do need a new shade umbrella as last week's wind storm managed to destroy my old one even though it was folded up in a corner. But otherwise, we are ready.

My son wanted to go to Boston/Plymouth/Gloucester/Harvard Square… etc… , he is learning a lot about US history.
bit we had to change our plans because of the weather. Not enjoyable to walk around in the rain.
My little sister and her baby daughter 1yr old) will come up. I will picked them up after work. I dropped off my brother in law and baby nephew (4yrs old) in the airport last. Night. They went to Paris.
samll gathering quiet weekend. My older sister may come up … sometimes we are just being spontaneous… all good.

I got my new hip in Plymouth.

Yard work, pool work, outdoor living space work, spring cleaning, etc. We’ll attend our local Memorial Day service for fallen soldiers. I think it’s supposed to rain all weekend, so no bbq.

July and August are the best months.

My Wife is traveling to Orlando tomorrow to see her brother; her lives in China and is visiting Orlando briefly for a wedding. Saturday, my wife and i will have dinner with my brother and his wife. Otherwise, i will take the time to start a project for my home.

I’ll be watching the Memorial Day military show On PBS then June1 I’ll be going to my friend‘s court date because he filed a lawsuit against a spa company and I’ll be talking for him.
