First of all, a politician should never use such a rhetoric. Besides, there are people coming from those so-called s***hole countries who have rendered immense services to America. In any case, it is the self-improved and highly qualified citizens of developing nations who actively want to emigrate to the US. On the other hand, why would people from countries like Norway or Denmark, which already enjoy a higher standard of living than the US, plan to leave their homelands and move to America anyway?

​I am also curious about this, if they completely banned people from these so-called s***hole countries from entering or working in the US (I wish they did, just to see the outcome), and if only European immigrants worked in America, would America still be able to remain America? Many places are shitholes, just as many are less advanced or have chosen a different route. The problem is when politicians use that kind of language they not only insult the leaders of those countries but the people. It's words like this that create the next generation of terrorists, or at the least global anti-american sediment. Ultimately that means less people will want to buy American products.
