Fun question. For me, the “last place” isn’t one country, but any destination that’s:

- Unsafe due to war or extreme crime
- Extremely polluted with no chance to enjoy nature
- So overcrowded with tourists that it feels stressful, not relaxing

Instead of saying “never,” I usually think: *not now, maybe later when conditions improve*. Where do you usually enjoy going—cities, beaches, or nature? 🌍

I have not been back to China for over 20 years. So I will take hubby.
we will also stop by Tokyo and Hong Kong.
he went to Cheng du China in October with my brother and nephew.
I went to Yunnan 2004/5? So we will go to these places because it’s beautiful and the weather will be nicer than other parts of China.
next year I would like to go to Madagascar.
I will have more travel opportunities once I retire in about a yr and half… my main focus is to maintain my good health. Then all is possible.
of course take the train from Finland to Russia etc… but that is not possible … not sure it it will during my life time. And lots more places. The world is very very beautiful.

Obviously i wouldn’t want to go to any war torn regions, or underdeveloped regions.
Interestingly, i have thought about this. I hate wintry weather, but i would probably enjoy a short vacation in Antarctica. I would very much enjoy observing the wildlife. As long as i don’t “have to” go out into the freezing weather, i don’t loathe it as much. Gimme some extra layers, a high tech mobile unit of some sort and some binoculars, and i’ll have a big ol’ time!
