They are awesome. I have been to the Northern California coast, where they are Coastal Redwoods. And then inland in the Sierra mountains, they are Giant Redwoods. They are totally awesome. I was just in the Sierras in May.

Fun fact for you, there's more giant redwoods in the UK than in California. Most were planted in the 1800s and are still babies at around 40 metres
