If studying in the U. S. is genuinely what you want, I’d say go for it, but plan carefully. Research the school, tuition, housing, visa requirements, and what you’ll realistically do after graduation.

The U. S. can offer a lot of opportunities, but it’s also expensive and life here isn’t always as easy as people imagine. 😅 Come with a clear plan, not just a dream. That makes a huge difference. 🇺🇸📚

Yeah, don't. I was born and raised there but spent most of my time dreaming of getting away as far as possible from the dumpster fire. This is why I lived in Canada and the UK for a while and eventually moved to Australia in 2019.

Politics is fragmented, volatile and retarded.

Your rights as a woman depend on your state and administration that cycle.

Healthcare is a joke and can send you into generational poverty.

@Agape93 Our healthcare system is quite good here. We do have some of the cost-related problems you mentioned, but the government is working to address them. Women’s rights can be an issue around the world, but there are efforts being made to improve the situation. Women living in more conservative communities in our country generally don't experience problems in this regard.

As for me, I'm looking at different countries for my education. I was considering places like Australia or the U. S. I hope things get better for you and that everything works out for the best.

I respond to people because their answers are valuable to me. I see it as a matter of respect. I don't think it would be right to ask questions and then just disappear. People take the time to answer my questions, so I return the courtesy by answering their questions or at least thanking them. That's what I call gratitude. I was raised to value respect and appreciate others.
