When you travel with your SO, do you always stay together or do you sometimes split apart?

My wife and I like to travel. Most of the time, we do things together, but sometimes we split apart.

For example, my wife may want to look at a particular part of a historic building, but I want to see something else. So, we separate and get back together later.

What about you and your SO?

We always stay together. She keeps me a a pretty short leash.

What’s the point of traveling together if we don’t stay together.. I prefer doing everything together.. unless we are traveling with a group of friends and there are activities specifically for him and the other guys…

We basically always stay together. But one time my husband was sick and needed to nap while we were in Japan. I walked around for a while by myself but I didn't go very far.

We absolutely do different things. She wants to go to museums and historical sites. I like it, but can only take so much of that, so she does her thing and I go play golf or hang by the pool for a few days each trip.

In my opinion it's important to separate at very least a bit , you don't have to exactly the same interests.

Pretty much stay together. Mostly go away with young kids too so we stay together as family
