The olympics of FOR athletic competitions. Thsi just defeats the whole purpose.
It would bring a whole new audience though
so? I'm a writer, I'm not going to go from writing the diary story I've got going about an eleven year old, then chuck in some smut just because it would attract a new audience.
It defeats the whole purpose of the story, just the same as bringing in these other games which are non-athletic to an athletic competition.
I'm not saying get rid of he athletic events. They should keep them, but at the same time try to make it fun and not so serious all the time.
I never said you were suggesting getting rid of the old games, I'm simply saying it is nonsensical to bring in games that are non-athletic to an athletic competition.
At least as demonstration events.
