Like a lot of kids, I grew up with those beautiful Disney princesses, from Snow White and Cinderella to Ariel and Belle. I also grew up with Barbie and yet, I'm not some image-obsessed female who wants to kill herself because she isn't a size 0. :P I think it's dumb to have a plus-size Disney princess just because that's the trend now. I don't fat-shame or anything but... really? Loey Lane seems to think it's a good idea. I don't know, what does everyone else think?

  I think that Disney is ridiculous full stop... I mean there is no happily ever after... Eventually one of them die and they end up rattling around the giant castle alone to be found dead by the footman or maid one day... Disney films need to be more realistic. I liked that Elsa in Frozen didn't need a man... I liked that it showed some guys will use a girl for gain... These are messages I would rather have put across. Removing the slim is beautiful thing as it is now such a sore subject of the world.

  Yeah, even though the number of obese kids is rising and the amount of people dying from obesity related illnesses is about the same as smoking related deaths, we need to encourage our kids to feel. okay with being fat. Being expected to be healthy and be at a healthy weight is oppressive. Feelings matter more than facts, so anybody who denys that we're healthy at every size is just an asshole.
