Something I saw when I was browsing through my snapchat stories. I came across something that was really peculiar and probably just plain weird and wrong on so many levels.
Dr Dopps (who is really a chiropractor and not a gynecologist), invented a product for women to make menstrual cycles easier to deal with (or so he hoped).
Adhesive Vaginal lipstick (for your "lips" down there) :/ Women are suppose to use the "lipstick" on their labia, where it acts like an adhesive. It seals the labia together, allowing the menstrual discharge to remain inside. The way to get yourself "unstuck" is to just use the toilet.
How it works in simpler form/explanation:
Apply Vaginal lipstick ----> it seals labia lips together, preventing menstrual discharge ---> when you use the toilet, your menstrual cycle will come out that end ----> reapply if need be.
What do you girls think? Thoughts?

Oooh Kay. Firstly this is the exact reason products like this shouldn't be solely made by men.
At the risk of bringing it back to basics, a period is the shedding of the uterus (womb) lining. It's a natural process and also acts as a cleaning mechanism for females, given that we have shorter (and more) tubes down there than men. It's a monthly spring clean.
So number 1. Why would you want to "seal" this? That's like doing the washing up and not allowing the dirty water to go down the sink (instead letting it sit in the water) and expecting clean dishes. Fairly moronic. it's been scrubbed but not released.
Number 2. The pain from a menstrual cycle, as any girl will tell you, is not from the blood leaving the body. The pain is in the abdomen, not the genitals. Therefore, the problem is internal. Just gluing the flaps isn't going to do jack shit.
Moral of this - you can sprinkle glitter on it, but a turd is still a turd.

Also, my inner "lips" don't go all the way until my vaginal opening, they're short and kind of end up before it, so even if I'd want to use that stupid thing I couldn't... And I can't see how it could glue my outer lips 'cause they're kinda short too, plus, if I'd suddenly open my legs I imagine it would hurt
No with a side of hell nah! For one, the man ain't even a gynochologist so that's a big no in my book. I would not trust a product made by a person that's not made by a certified gynecologist. I rather wear a tampon or a pad instead of sealing my vaginal lips with a product I know nothing about. And that sound like it'll get messy. Like why the hell would you glue your coochie lips together in the first place smh. No thanks🤚😒
That is sick and unhealthy! You do you how much bacteria would be stuck in your vagina alone? The vagina and the female reproductive system is self-cleaning! Oh man, that is so nasty. Any woman who would be dumb enough to do this will no doubt end up with diseases and into the hospital, she will go. This guy needs to get sent to the mental ward ASAP!
The product is a new one and may not be available in the market. It is still under development. But instead of just closing the vaginal hole , it also wants to close the urethral opening. So infection from urethra may infect the vaginal canal. The product is good in the sense that some women may prefer to use it. But closing the vaginal canal and urethra 100% air tight , may not be the right thing. Because he vagina needs some fresh air all the time. That is how they have been designed for by nature.
just when i didn't thought i could be more grossed out by the female body when it comes to those things. some guy goes and does something like this how people sleep at night with those kind of ideas? lol
it is but what has too be going through the guys mind to wan too do that. i mean its almsot the same as putting a cork in the butt and letting pressure build. lol

I just think Dr Dopps didn't really think about it properly. But who knows, it's been patented and it's available for women. I don't know if they did enough research on it :/ which is concerning
I find this funny because it reminds me of a saying in Sweden where guys are sometimes told to "tie a knot" if they have to go pee in inappropriate situations.
I guess if it works it might be quite useful but I feel like its a subpar solution.

And I'm sorry, I have a heavy flow, it'd have to be like extra strength industrial adhesive, otherwise I'd wet so much, and it'll be sticky, bloody and messy lol Tmi, but no bueno

I've read about it. Hell no would I use it. The vagina was made to be open and menses come out slowly. What happens if it doesn't release? UTI could be a problem. No way is this a good idea.
Well Im no expert on having a vagina but normally its just a slow drip of blood throughout the day, isn't it better to build it up and get it all out at once on the toilet rather than deal with it constantly?
Periods are hmm unpredictable lol you kind of have them when you don't expect them (most of the time). The flow (the amount that drops) fluctuates. Sometimes girls can have very light flows (in this case what you said "slow drips of blood") which I can see being handy when you use the vaginal lip thingy Ma Bobby. Other times you get a very heavy flow which feels like you amputated your entire arm off and the blood keeps seeping out non stop XD
So I feel like it can probably help when women have a very light flow. I think most women are iffy about having something sealing something, that is naturally seen to just come out instead (because it's the natural way of dealing with it). But yeah lol
They attack him but they dont give any objective results from testing the product itself. I remain skeptic of the product's functioning though. If i could bleed from my penis every month for a week putting glue on my penis would be the last thing on my mind.
I see what you mean. I feel like no one is going to test something that is going to mess around and tamper with a girls wazoo just to keep blood from pouring out. It could work OR it could epically fail. Vagina's are self cleaning, so if the product is used to prevent that from happening, then that causes issues (UTI). There shouldn't really be product designed to assist us in that (apart from pads and tampons). They do the job just fine. Maybe he could come up with a way to lessen abdominal pain for women apart from just taking a pill?
