Um how deep have you gone into the history of Christianity because the version that you practice today is almost 100% an “iteration” on the truth. Every religion is dynamic despite how static it may feel. And that’s just the result of only looking at your religion from your perspective. It’s so personally intertwined with your being that your brain will naturally work to avoid inconsistencies often dismissing them before you even have a chance to think about them no matter how true they may be. In fact you’re probably getting a little defensive reading this. Hot take: Christianity is an offshoot of judaism which I bet the Jewish people didn’t appreciate. False. He has been white washed. And the point you bring up with another commenter that he was often depicted with various skin tones in different cultures does not support your bias. The fact that he is depicted with different skin tones is just further evidence that the church changes the facts to support their political agendas and manipulate people by branding themselves with what the people are familiar with. How can you be upset about people wanting to cast him as something more relatable to them? That’s exactly what the church did whenever they changed his skin color. The only reason you’re up in arms about people wanting to depict him as female is because you have something against feminism or LGBTQ. Also if you look it up wherever Christianity spread to in the world Jesus was depicted by the specific culture, race and ethnicity of the people there so in Ethiopia you have an African Jesus, in India you have an Indian jesus, in the Americas you have a native American Jesus, in China you have a chineese Jesus, in Japan you have a scandanavian Jesus, in eastern Europe you have a Slavic Jesus, in northern Europe you have a scandanavian Jesus.
