Should the German Hohenzollern former kaiser family get their land and property back after expropriation when losing WWI?

in Germany right now there is a big law suit fight against the Hohenzollern (last German Kaiser family), because the Hohenzollern sued the German state on compensation for expropriation of their goods, land and everything the family formerly owned, which is an unsolved since the Weimar Republic.

I made a similar question in the past about Eduard Habsburg. The former Kaiser family of Austria-Hungary. What do you think of the descendant of the Habsburg aristocracy wanting to rule over the Austria-Hungarian empire again?

I think there is a possibility that both the Habsburgs and the Hohenzollern are trying to return to full imperial power.

No they shouldn't. His great grandfather played a significant role in the 1st world war. And he ordered the genocide of the herero in south africa. And These aren't even all of his crimes. But instead of being beheaded like any Monarch that's responsible for the suffering of millions should, he was allowed to go into exile in Holland. And on top of that he was allowed to Bring 50 train cars full of gold and other treassures with him. However there is a law in Germany that allows those that got their property expropriated during WW2 to get it Back. But only If they didn't provide the Nazis a substantial Advantage. Which Kaiser Wilhelms son did. So they No longer have the right to get anything that used to belong to their Family Back.
