Recently, an Indian news channel called News NationTV has come under fire for their depiction of BLACKPINK on national TV.
There’s an ongoing dispute between India and China, and during a segment scrutinizing the Chinese government, a clip of BLACKPINK’s members dancing during a live performance was played. The commentary of the clip was objectifying, and they were even labeled “Chinese strippers”.
India shame on you for this stupid move , like you want to spread bad news about china but end up degrading blackpink who are korean kpop band.
The channel is local and not popular also they have apologized already Also India have more than 50-60 or even more in different language So local channel post such news for popularity Also Indians don't hate Chinese people they hate Chinese government Also because of border tension Chinese media have also said many things about India too.

I didn't know about any news like that🤔 but yeah... I agree News channels are rubbish most of the times to get the viewers... And yeah there a lot of dumb people who can't differentiate between chinese and other Asian races... I've seen people calling the people from North east India as chinese too which is way too bad but we can't just get rid off that stupid mentality But not everyone is too dumb to care for that shit🤔

And right now India is having conflicts with China so these news channel try to find any random news and connect it with China to attract the viewers... This could be the reason for that... PS: I'm an Indian by the way (don't attack me🙄)
India is a South Asian country along the lines of Bangladesh and Pakistan, and South Asian countries are notorious for shaming attractive women for their existence, especially those who wear skimpy clothes, so much so that not even the Middle East (aside from Saudi Arabia) can come close to the shaming levels possessed by South Asians. As someone of South Asian descent, I am utterly ashamed of this, but luckily, I was born outside of South Asia so I am partially relieved of this.
I am not the fan of Blackpink nor any of KPop at all because KPop songs are awful and their fans are petulant manchildren/womanchildren who get offended over the existence of someone who isn't a fan of KPop at all. However, that still doesn't excuse South Asia's constant shaming of attractive women (including those wearing skimpy clothes). Matter of fact, I am a huge fan of attractive women wearing skimpy clothes, so India's shaming language really pisses me off.
Yeah. That would seem like a really dumb thing to say. To me, it appears as if that news channel knows how ignorant their viewers are and I doubt the "mistake" got much media attention in India. They are purposely doing this to incite a certain attitude towards China amongst it's populace.
Never heard of that channel. If they said this they are done for sure. Most of the news channels here are just time wasting fake news channels theu don't really have much of a viewership. And blackpink also have fans in India but they are probably unaware of this
