Why is it a "so-called variant". It is a variant. And that's how this variant went, but that doesn't mean it doesn't keep evolving to become more deadly now that it has picked up how to become more transmissible?

This has persisted past the beginning where everyone dismissed this less deadly than the flu. When those didn't pan out, then you turned your attention on what was in the vaccines. When people weren't dropping like flies from the vaccine like some of you predicted, now the goal posts move again. What its gonna take for you to be convinced this is not just some passing thing? This is our new normal because some of you didn't want to take it seriously because "muh freedoms!"

If everyone had just been responsible from the beginning we could have been a lot closer to resolving this. Instead you follow disinformation campaigns that latch on to any little thing to side with a virus that only cares about spreading. The stupidity of those internet detectives who think they know better than actual real scientists is making this last way longer than it had to be.

I call these variants "so-called" for the same reason I call the Vaccines for COVID "so-called". The powers-that-be want us to THINK that these "variants" are a nightmarish thing, to try to scare more people into getting the COVID jabs.
