NEWSFLASH: YOU NEED TO BE CLEAR AND NOT SPOUTING FOX NEWS MISINFORMATION.
"CDC Recommends NOT GETTING the J&J Vaccination?" is false and highly misleading.
This is what is more accurate:
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/12/16/health/johnson-and-johnson-vaccine-blood-clots.html
TITLE: C. D. C. Recommends Other COVID Vaccines Over J.&J.’s Shots
SUBTITLE: A committee of experts voted on a preference for the Moderna or Pfizer immunizations, citing the risk of blood clots linked to Johnson & Johnson’s product.
The CDC would still prefer that you be vaccinated with J&J instead of not being vaccinated at all. That's a world of difference including that a J&J vaccination could have saved your life than if you weren't vaccinated at all and died from COVID-19.

CDC Endorses ACIP’s Updated COVID-19 Vaccine Recommendations
Media Statement
For Immediate Release: Thursday, December 16, 2021
Contact: Media Relations
(404) 639-3286
Today, CDC is endorsing updated recommendations made by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) for the prevention of COVID-19, expressing a clinical preference for individuals to receive an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine over Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine. ACIP’s unanimous recommendation followed a robust discussion of the latest evidence on vaccine effectiveness, vaccine safety and rare adverse events, and consideration of the U. S. vaccine supply. The U. S. supply of mRNA vaccines is abundant – with nearly 100 million doses in the field for immediate use. This updated CDC recommendation follows similar recommendations from other countries, including Canada and the United Kingdom. Given the current state of the pandemic both here and around the world, the ACIP reaffirmed that receiving any vaccine is better than being unvaccinated. Individuals who are unable or unwilling to receive an mRNA vaccine will continue to have access to Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine.
The following is attributable to CDC Director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky
“We have made important strides in the year since the COVID-19 vaccination program started. More than 200 million Americans have completed their primary vaccine series, providing protection against COVID-19, preventing millions of cases and hospitalizations, and saving over a million lives. Today’s updated recommendation emphasizes CDC’s commitment to provide real-time scientific information to the American public. I continue to encourage all Americans to get vaccinated and boosted.”

No link included? Really? Well, I'm the type to do my own research anyway.

But yeah. All the trash mainstream media sites are having a field day with this, it seems. Does no one remember all the issues the Moderna vaccine had back earlier in 2021? I thought they were the first one to have issues, right? Well, assuming I was a reluctant-but-willing participant of getting the vaccine (I don't want one), that would just leave the Pfizer one not potentially fatal to take. However, they're arguably the most corrupt company out of these three ("most corrupt" not implying the other two aren't also) and the ones pushing the most propaganda.
But yeah. We're the dumb ones for not wanting to take this vaccine though, right?
I didn't know about this. Haven't heard on the news yet. I trust in vaccines, no vaccine is 100% effective, even those that have been around for decades.
With new findings every day it's possible that other vaccines will stop being recommend and others will come.
Congrats on MHO. xx
Thanks! :)
@Paris13 did they say WHY to not get J&J vaccine? I have two people I know that had the J&J vaccine. One got his in a rehab after recovering from COVID-19. The other man I know got it from the VA clinic. They were giving the Vets that one. Please respond to me ok?

I don't know what to think about this news.
The CDC promoted the knowingly false claim that covid was a deadly pandemic and never backed off. It made recommendations about all the masking, social distancing, business closures, stay at home bullshit. Governments used the CDC's pseudoscience to justify harmful, deadly mandates that callously destroyed lives and livelihoods, and ripped society apart.
The CDC assisted with the effort to ban the prescribing and availability of life inexpensive, life saving treatments that had been proven to be effective.
The CDC recommended the gene therapy experiments (vakseens) on all of humanity. And it sat back while thousands and thousands of people suffered life-long injury or death.
Now the CDC, which gets most of it's funding from pharma companies and pharma profiteers like Gates organizations, is suddenly acting like it follows scientific method and has people's best interests in mind?
It takes it's orders from big pharma, just as the USDA and FDA work for the industries they are supposed to regulate.
So what is the CDC up to now? Is it trying to retain some credibility in order to remain in business. Is it trying to avoid indictments when the Nuremberg II trials for crimes against humanity begin?
Clearly it is more deadly than the annual flu, which is why it's killed ten times as many people despite unprecedented attempts to contain it.
Globally, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that the flu kills 290,000 to 650,000 people per year. Covid has killed over five million.
Why do you do that? Why would you deliberately post misleading information?
THE CDC RECOMMENDS NOT GETTING THE J&J VACCINE, IF PFIZER AND MODERNA ARE AVAILABLE.
https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/cdc-panel-recommends-people-not-get-jj-vaccine-pfizer-moderna-availabl-rcna8987
CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky signed off on language that says the mRNA vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna are the "preferred" options over Johnson & Johnson's.
What they have said is …. Today, CDC is endorsing updated recommendations made by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) for the prevention of COVID-19, expressing a clinical preference for individuals to receive an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine over Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine.
https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2021/s1216-covid-19-vaccines.html
IF there any non mRNA vaccines in the US, then they will likely get added to the list.
I think the fact that the mRNA vaccines are more effective may be unrelated to the mRNA component, which is after all only the delivery system and not the "payload". It is difficult to know for sure. The enhanced effectiveness of mRNA vaccines may be correlational, or causative. I have no idea at all.
All they're saying is that the other ones are better at protecting you.
"the ACIP reaffirmed that receiving any vaccine is better than being unvaccinated. Individuals who are unable or unwilling to receive an mRNA vaccine will continue to have access to Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine."
Tires with 10mm of tread are better than tires with 3mm of tread; both are better than bald tires.
We can't see far enough down to figure out what is next in the little minds of DCD, WHO, ET AL.
At least Dr. Ben Carson would like to pull politics from this whole mess, use appropriate treatments for specific sickness phases, etc. Still waiting for NovaVax.
I had faith in the vaccine until my double jabbed aunty ended up catching Covid, Covid induce pneumonia and she’s now suffering from long Covid and will be on an inhaler for the rest of her life…she was in perfect health before, but she was jabbed with AZ. I’ve had both of my doses mainly because I want my freedom lmao
Yeah, she probably would’ve been. But I’m just saying I thought the whole point of vaccination was to prevent hospitalisations.
She did almost die, that’s my point. She was in perfect health before this yet despite being double vaccinated she almost died. The only reason she didn’t was because doctors and nurses intervened. in my opinion the vaccine did fuck all for her.
She shouldn’t have been as ill as she was. She had blood clots as well that the doctor she was under suspected were possibly caused by the vaccine. So come at me all you want, I don’t 100% trust the vaccine. I’m doubled jabbed so you don’t have to cry about that either, I just don’t have complete faith in it. That’s my opinion and I’m allowed to have that opinion.
I may be wrong. I’m not claiming to be right. It’s just my own opinion on the whole thing after seeing a once healthy family member decline so rapidly.
Why should we have confidence in any recommendation coming from the CDC? Or from Saint Fauci?
If this is the best we've got. . . that isn't an adequate reason to believer them. Why not? Because public health represents the intersection of medicine and politics, and politics always prevails. Even The Lancet is involved in politics and attempted subterfuge concerning covid.
@msc545 How many times have Fauci and/or the CDC made an announcement and later retracted or substantially modified what they told us? I am not saying that this particular announcement is bad, and I have no reason to doubt the recommendation being made; I am merely commenting that pronouncements by the CDC or Fauci are not entitled to instant credibility.
These days, there is probably nothing that is entitled to instant credibility. That said, in defense of Fauci and the CDC, I would remind you that they were/are dealing with a very dynamic situation, and as things changed their recommendations and reports changed with them. Surely you would agree that that is far better than leaving things static and hoping for the best?
@msc545 I would agree that if you don't know the answer to a question, you should confess your ignorance. Instead, the guesses of this group have been shaped by political considerations and, when the original answers are retracted, there is no apology or explanation, and we are then told that the NEW answers are right because, after all, these people are SCIENTISTS!
@msc545 "Dr Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), saying 'there’s no reason to be walking around with a mask.'"
www.reuters.com/.../fact-checkoutdated-video-of-fauci-saying-theres-no-reason-to-be-walking-around-with-a-mask-idUSKBN26T2TR
Fauci later admitted that the earlier advice was motivated by the desire to avoid a shortage of PPE for health care workers. He lost all credibility at that point.
And I am tired of hearing people say that "scientists" only tell the truth and we must believe every word they say.
Right, he lied about these things using the calculus that saving health workers would mean overall more people who were NOT health workers would also be saved. "The most good for the most people". I don't necessarily disagree with this but then again I am a health care worker. I also do not condemn him as you seem to for this error in judgment. One swallow doesn't make a summer.
@msc545 He has spent most of his life working in the public health sector and lying to the public, regardless of his motive, is unforgiveable. There are people who are honest and there are people who tell lies. Those who tell lies usually have justifications, but they are still liars. On this issue, it really is that simple for me.
And, you know, I am fully vaccinated AND had a booster about a month ago, so I am not a conspiracy theory, anti-vaxxer nut.
@msc545 I think that people in leadership positions often become self-aggrandized and believe that they are justified in lying to others. It is extreme arrogance. I understand that scientific knowledge of covid-19 has expanded and it is okay that he did not have the answers at the beginning, but he didn't tell us that he couldn't answer the questions. He guessed and acted as if he was quite certain of what he was saying.
My problems with Dr. Fauci are symptomatic of my distrust of public officials who are treated like rock stars by the Main Stream Morons, and any who question their statements is treated as if they are idiots. This is not a part of my psychopathology of everyday life; this is my intellectual skepticism and resistance to the media's attempts to tell us what to think.
Stop misreading things and being a nimrod, Paris!
www.cnbc.com/.../...commending-jj-covid-shots.html
I AM SHOCKED. Shocked I tell you! (Being sarcastic here, people). Old man ended up getting Johnson and Johnson last year, thankfully he hasn't had any side effects that this one has produced.
I had the J&J vaccine last night. It's only one shot and works as well as the others which are not that effective. The only reason I got it was I a going out of the country and the airline and country require proof of vaccination.
That’s why my husband and I will be holding off on having our daughter vaccinated. I’m not “anti-vax, since we have been vaccinated. However, I’m not rushing out to get my six year old the shot (s) until we know more.
@msc545 so you are a doctor? May I ask you where you studied medicine? Where you did your residency? And what were your board scores? This isn’t about vaccines! This is about “what are the affects on my child”. And it isn’t a statement of being “anti”, since my husband and I are both vaccinated and boosted. So please peddle your sick and twisted mentality somewhere else.
I heard this too. My sis-in-law is a pharmacist and they only give j&j if they think they won’t see them again. I for one am glad I had Pfizer and not j&j.
That's what they were doing around here too. Transient workers, people with limited transportation, or who they thought just wouldn't come back in got j&j, everyone else got pfizer or moderna
The mRNA vaccines are deadlier and cause more bad health problems, that is why the CDC recommends them over J&J. They want people to suffer and die.
I think the vaccines have been useful. Too bad they have been used as a weapon to demonize people that want to have control over their own bodies.
No way. They’re committed to vaccine theory. They’re just saying they don’t trust this one vaccine.
"OMG that means im correct and the vaccines are bullshit and we should stp using them OMG"
AH... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... holy fuck... do any of the branch covidians feel like suckers, yet?
Get whatever vaccination you want don’t get the vaccination I don’t care it’s not my business
Paris, I am convinced those idiots have no idea what's going on.
One has to wonder @Paris13 . With the ways things are shaping up all these shots may have been for nothing.
NEWSFLASH: CDC is full of shit just like Fauci who helped China engineer the virus. BREAKINGNEWS: Covid-19 vaccine doesn’t work.
lol wow you are so full of shit
@Still-alive 🖕😚😚 Go get your 5th booster The Deccacron variant is very lethal it’s going to come get you son run go hide in the basement!
cdc also said the getting the third of the other two, are more protection against the virus. i was always weary about j and j. so, ill stick with pfizer
They should say that it will kill you and you can't sue them
@msc545 Im not lying, look it up. If they make a vaccine and you get sick, cancer, or die from taking it. They can not be sued. That's been on the book for over 50 years
www.findlaw.com/.../...vaccine-manufacturers-.html
Okay I was wrong, but since 1986
No, Dr Fauci and the Biden Government are too far into promoting these. As they should be. The vaccines are the only thing that will save lives.
No masks
It's not surprising. It always had the lower percentage of coverage.
Depends if they stop sponsoring news channels or not.
Yes. That vaccine has caused problems. Shit happens.
I think it's just not as effective as the others. ISTR Fauci said it should always have been a double-shot, like the others. (I expect they wanted to have a unique selling point.) Crappy company; I suspect they killed my mother and sister with asbestos in their talc, but I think this vaccine is OK, just not great.
I thought that was Astra-Zeneca (which I got), and it was, like, 2 in a million if you were in the most vulnerable group: young and female. Still, if you gave me the choice of thowing 20 coins or 10 coins in the air and dying if they all came up the same way (heads or tails), I'd choose the 20 coins. The advice makes sense, if it adds a few more coins. The least harm, the better.
link to the announcement?
why dont they recommend it?
The JnJ vaccine was already the least desirable.
Paris is extemly crazy baby
I don't know, I had Moderna.
Well they dont know have they got all the facts
Nobody does.
I'm not getting that
Half and half
