True! What demographics are more prone to seriously adverse side-effects, under what frequency, and subject to what contributing factors? With a massive amount of the industry-standard research & development time slashed, it's often unknown and/or unpublished.
Add to that the fact that's it's basically unnecessary for my demographic. I'm told vaccines will cut my chances of hospitalization and/or death from COVID.
But what does the Washington's Federal-level Centers for Disease Control (C. D. C.) website itself report?
“What to Do If You Are Sick” 🇺🇸
「Most people have mild illness and are able to recover at home.」
17 March 2021
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/if-you-are-sick/steps-when-sick.html
“Interim Clinical Guidance for Management of Patients with Confirmed Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)” 🇺🇸
16 February 2021
「Illness Severity
A large cohort that included more than 44,000 people with COVID-19 from China, showed that illness severity can range from mild to critical:
• Mild to moderate (mild symptoms up to mild pneumonia): 81%
• Severe (dyspnea, hypoxia, or more than 50% lung involvement on imaging): 14%
• Critical (respiratory failure, shock, or multiorgan system dysfunction): 5%
… Among U. S. COVID-19 cases reported January 22–May 30, 2020, overall the proportion of people who were hospitalized was 14%, including 2% admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU). Overall 5% of patients died.」
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/clinical-guidance-management-patients.html
In other words, chances of hospitalization are pretty low just by default. Do I really need some untested, rushed product to cut down a mere 14% for me?
What about chances of death in general?
“Weekly Updates by Select Demographic and Geographic Characteristics”
2 September 2020
「Comorbidities
Table 3 shows the types of health conditions and contributing causes mentioned in conjunction with deaths involving coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death. The number of deaths with each condition or cause is shown for all deaths and by age groups.」
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/index.htm
In other words, COVID within U. S.-borders very rarely killed as the sole cause of death. I have no serious illnesses, at all.
But, how about for my demographics? Let's check the North Carolina (N. C.) Department of Health & Human Services (H. H. S.)'s official, regularly-updated dashboard:
Deaths of Asian & Pacific Islanders: '1% (126 patients)' for the whole N. C., while '2% (11)' in my county.
Deaths of patients aged 25-49: '3% (429)' State-wide or '3 (21)' for my county.
https://covid19.ncdhhs.gov/dashboard/cases-demographics
Hence, do I really need an untrusted product with no industry-standard seals of approval from relevant authorities (instead of a rushed emergency-authorization) to reduce a mere 6%max -1%min chance for me?
I think not. Media can hype for whatever reasons they have, but the numbers tell a different story… for my demographics, at least.
Hence, I'm not taking it… at least, until all the vaccines' side-effect-vulnerable demographics have definitively been mapped-out together with the complete listing of harmful effects, frequencies, and causal-factors. And those are just the immediate effects. How about the long-term side-effects? I want those known and mapped-out, too!214 Reply- +1 y

@N192K001 It's good you've obviously done some research, but a few things to consider.
1. What if you get it, and pass it on, directly or indirectly, to others? The chance of someone dying because of you is considerably higher than your own personal risk. Maybe they're not in your demographic, maybe they have an underlying condition. That's why it is necessary for all demographics.
2. The large cohort study of 44k people is a year old, I think things aren't as bad as those numbers, but did you really think about what 14% is? It's only slightly less than the chance of rolling a six on a normal die. And the kind of problems they describe can screw your body up for some time. (Erectile dysfunction is one reported result of covid-19.)
3. The vaccines have probably already been taken by more people than practically any other medication newer than Aspirin, at least in the US. The number of people who *might* have died as a result are less than a days' worth of covid-19 fatalities.
Anyway, just a few thoughts. - +1 y
@msc545 Cherry-pick? Can you show me any jurisdiction's statistics that contradict this data?
I did not even mention the statistics in back in the Philippines. (And yes, Asian casualties will be much more since we are the majority.)
https://www.covid19.gov.ph/ (National Government's dashboard)
https://doh.gov.ph/covid19tracker (dashboard of the Department of Health)
Clicking on the 'View Detailed Case information' option in the D. O. H.'s website, you should see that deaths of 30-34year-old males is still a mere '190 (1.3%)' in the whole PH. And consider the the ratios of mild/active ('132,061mild/135,526active ≈ 97.44%' in Nat. Govt. dashboard) cases & recoveries/total ('646,100recovered/705,051total ≈ 81.26%') cases. Also, consider the hospital-occupancy statistics form the D. O. H. (Note: Universal healthcare was signed into law just a few years ago, and its national implementation is in progress, so cost should not hinder citizens from seeking medical-assistance.) (Also, this is NOT a 1st-world country, and resource-deficiencies have been publicly-known front-page news-items.) WHO are the vulnerable demographics?
Can you show ANY numbers from ANY U. N.-recognized jurisdiction with contrary statistics? - +1 y
@goaded Thanks for your concern.
1. Infect others? I'm no socialite. (I haven't been for years. lol) So, I've essentially been quarantining long before it was a thing. The only way I can infect would be by contact with infected surfaces. Yet, the C. D. C. deems that less likely than 1% (in their words: 'less than a 1 in 10,000 chance of causing an infection').
www.cdc.gov/.../surface-transmission.html
2. True, I'll look for more recent studies, then.
3. True, but we have yet to see what happens to the patients years from now. What long-term side-effects will reveal themselves in the future? How many will be temporary? How many will be life-long? how severe are they? Even some vaccines that go through the proper processes can sometimes only be found to be harmful only later. (Ex. Dengvaxia® by French company Sanofi Pasteur) Only time will tell. Given that my parents have taken it, I can only hope that the effects of their specific brands taken are nil-mild in their demographics between now & the inevitable. But again, only time will tell. I hope my suspicions are wrong. Otherwise…😬 - +1 y
I hadn't heard of the problems with the dengue fever vaccine before, I can see why people in your country are wary of these things. It's probably the reason that there was emphasis on the covid vaccines working well with people who hadn't had the virus before.
You've been very lucky so far with covid, your first wave didn't really start until August, five or six months behind Europe and the US, but there are definite signs of a second wave now. Getting people vaccinated now could knock the outbreak on the head. I guess we're going to be a massive safety test for you!
One long term effect of the vaccine is more potential patients to have long-term problems; there will be millions fewer dead people!
"Scotland's vaccination drive appears to be markedly reducing the risk of hospitalisation for COVID-19, suggesting that both the Pfizer-BioNtech and Oxford-AstraZeneca shots are highly effective in preventing severe infections, preliminary study findings showed on Monday.
Results of the study, which covered the entire Scottish population of 5.4 million people, showed that by the fourth week after the initial dose, the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines were found to reduce the risk of hospitalisation by up to 85% and 94% respectively."

+1 yYes. I’ve been hesitant from day one. I feel they rushed them through and out, and have been pressuring people to take them for too long. None of the mRNA injections have not been approved by the FDA (only EUA- emergency use authorization status, which they give to experimental drugs). None of them keep you from picking up or spreading the virus (like conventional vaccines do). And the recovery rate from Covid is now 99.6% per the CDC. So why the pressure on everyone? Unless you are elderly or have high health risk factors, I don’t see the point in taking the chance on this experiment. Less than 100 kids under tha age of 18 have died in the US so far from Covid.. Out of the 500k!! So kids definitely shouldn’t take it. No one knows the long term effects from taking these gene therapy injections (they are not vaccines), and won’t for some time.
I’m becoming more concerned with the hysteria and bullying of those of us who are hesitant to be honest. Talks about Covid shot passports?
Of you are elderly or have health factors, fine. Take the shot. The virus can be worse on you than the shot may be.. But stop trying to bully and intimidate the rest of us into receiving it. Especially since taking does not even prevent the spread of it.14 Reply- +1 y

@supercutebutt I'm not spreading anything... And you can discuss without trying to insult and if you can't, you shouldn't question my brain, but your own because only people without a brain can't discuss without insults... Any more and your comments will be removed! Thanks (
- +1 y
@supercutebutt that comment was rude and unnecessary. And you really shouldn’t take the arrogant position that just because someone else has a different opinion that they are by any means less intelligent or “dumber” than you. Personally, I don’t see how anyone who has all the info available on these shots are not skeptical and cautious about taking them.
+1 yHmm, where to even start...
As most people on here know, I'm work in a hospital. And for a short period of time, I assisted at a vaccine clinic as a Coordinator. Not by choice; I was voluntold to- but it was a good experience as I learned a lot about the different vaccines, their effects, and peoples reactions to them. Most importantly, the general public's views on the vaccines.
When I heard Johnson and Johnson made a vaccine, along with its efficiency rate against covid? I was not impressed.
Unlike Pfizer, which is known for making vaccines, J&J has NEVER made a vaccine. But of course people were eager to get it due to the, "one and done" type of shot it offers compared to Pfizer and Moderna which are two doses.
I warned my family and friends against it because I knew it seemed too good to be true.
Honestly, I discourage people from taking any of the vaccines right now; however, for the ones that are hellbent on taking one, I encourage them to take one of the two dose vaccines due to their higher efficiency against the virus, and they've been out a bit longer.
Now as a disclaimer, I have nothing against J&J: they make great products. But have y'all heard the old saying, "If it's too good to be true, it probably is?" Yeah.
As soon as the FDA announced they were holding off on the J&J vaccine due to how it's been causing clotting in some women? I just shook my head. I'm not surprised; I'm not. I know that sounds callous...
I have no shame in admitting that I am in no rush to get ANY of the vaccines. Not until they've out a bit longer, tested, and ALL potential side effects are documented. If those of you that did get the vaccine don't grow a tail in the next year or so, I 'might' reconsider getting it... maybe.
I could go on and rant about this topic all night, but I'm not turning your question into a mytake.
I hope everyone that chooses to be vaccinated thoroughly does your research, knows which vaccine you're getting, and is aware of any potential side effects it might cause. If you don't get it? That's fine too. I'm not judging people either way. You do what's best for you.616 Reply- +1 y
I wish I would of talked to you about this before. My one sister just got the J&J vaccine couple days ago and then heard that about this yesterday... I was considering getting the vaccine, now just don't know... My younger daughter got the first dose of the phizer and my mom got both doses of the Moderna vaccine. Don't think my older daughter got it.
- +1 y
Yeah, our facility has used and been giving out all three vaccines: on site, we give out Pfizer- which is supposedly the best one right now due to its high efficiency rate (~94-95 percent). Moderna is right behind it at 93 percent, but honestly it's not a huge difference between the two other than the temperature they're stored and kept at.
I am not going to say if you should or shouldn't get it. I can tell you the benefits and cons of doing so. I have my reasons for waiting, and am just practicing safe measures in the meantime.
I will say this much to those people that are downvoting me: NO, I'm not "anti-vac" or whatever the term is. I've been vaccinated as a child, and get a flu vaccine every year for my job. I support vaccines.
I don't support vaccines or medicines that have barely been out a full year, and we don't know how long they will help, or even if they are really effective against something. You can STILL get covid even after being vaccinated! Ideally, the shot will lower your chances of contracting it, or if you do get sick, the effects won't be as bad as if you weren't vaccinated.
Also keep in mind right now we have no idea how often these vaccines will have to be given once you've taken one: it might be yearly like a flu vaccine; it might be every few years. No one knows yet! So don't think just because you've been vaccinated, you're "cured," or you can just lower your guard. - +1 y

I'm kinda worried cuz my daughter just got her second dose today! My older daughter I think it's hesitant to get it and doesn't want her son to get it as he's only, well 3 in couple weeks
- +1 y
3? That's young...
I'll admit I'm not sure of the effects on pediatric patients, or young children under 18.
I would advise your daughter to ask her son's doctor their thoughts on the vaccine.
As for your daughter? If she's having doubts, then she should wait.
I'm not saying she shouldn't get it at all, but if she's unsure, I wouldn't want her getting a shot just because "everyone else did."
That's like the old saying, if your friends jumped off the bridge, would you do so? As long as she's not high risk, or has any underlying health conditions, your daughter should get the shot if/when she's ready to. - +1 y

People just put words in your mouth you didn't say tho 🤷🏼♀️
- +1 y
Exactly. While I personally will not be getting the vaccine anytime soon, ask me if I told any patients not to get it?
It's not my place or business to.
I've had several people ask me if they should get it. I tell them the pros and cons, and tell them any information I know about each vaccine. After that, it's up to said individual.
For example, my dad got the Pfizer, even after I told him about it. Am I upset? Nope! Like anyone else, that's his choice.
You gotta do what's best for YOU. Just make sure you're informed and not doing something because it's easier or everyone else is doing it. - +1 y
Again, well said! And again couldn't agree more... I wasn't sure about my younger daughter getting vaccinated because feel she did it because her job set it up and paid for the employees to get vaccinated. But while she'll always be my child, she's a grown adult entitled to make her own decisions...
- +1 y
Yes, same here. When the vaccines first rolled out, everyone at my job had priority to get the vaccine if they wanted it.
Obviously my parents want me to get it as they worry about me working in a hospital.
Maybe I'm hardheaded, but I rather be safe than sorry. Shoot I work in a freaking hospital; we're at risk just walking into work most days! 😂 - +1 y
Please be careful!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼💛
Well I found out today that birth control pills causes blood clots more frequently than covid vaccines. It really makes us think why we were so okay with women being exposed to these drugs but suddenly not ok with everyone being exposed to these vaccines...
24 Reply- +1 y
Okay but women choose to take birth control. That's not the same as if the government mandates vaccines or people are forced to get vaccinated. It's not vaccines itself that the issue. It's pudding vaccines that they dont know enough about the safety and affectiveness and how long it stays affective
- +1 y
Birth control pills have been so normalised in our societies - who would’ve known they posed such risks for women and why have we been ok with it for so long?
I totally agree with the vaccine part but they’re not mandatory (well at least not here), and we’re kinda in a state of emergency and have been for the past year or so. There’s only so much the government can do until covid not only continues killing people, but also continues killing the economy and our lives! However, I’ve taken the vaccine myself but I am totally for “my body, my choice”. For me I felt happy to take it and protect myself, but I’m also totally respectful of those who choose not to. - +1 y
Respectable. Also, yeah, I've always found the willingness to accept the side effects of birth control medication a little... odd?
But I've smoked cigarettes for most of the past eight years so I really can't talk.

+1 yOK - let's do the math.
Five out of every million people get a cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) blood clot each year, without the vaccine. That is 1/200,000.
Six people receiving the J&J vaccine got the clot. ALL six of them were women aged 18 to 48 years old. Those six people were out of 6.8 million people who received the J&J vaccine. That is 1/1,133,333.333, so compared to the "natural" rate of occurrence, people are 5.667 times more likely to get the clot through natural causes than the vaccine. And then- based on these findings- the vaccine most likely will only effect child-bearing age women.
Please don't get me wrong: I am not a huge fan of "big pharma". And I am not undervaluing the danger that this clot can cause: CVST is a rare type of clot that builds in the brain's sinus channels. The clot can block the channels from draining blood from the brain, which can lead to a hemorrhage. It occurs in five out of one million people each year.
Perhaps the exaggerated, knee-jerk reactions of the government to otherwise valid but rare concerns is part of the reason people are so ticked off with this whole situation.49 Reply- +1 y

You are reducing people to numbers game. Im not gonna fall for it.
" The greater good " mentality is very disturbing... - +1 y
@HateMetaL89 About seven hundred and fifty. How many do they think might have died from the vaccine? One?
Look, if they work out that a particular group is more susceptible to problems with a given vaccine, there are others they can be given. It's nuts for everybody to not take it if they're not in that group, because that means the susceptible group are less likely to get a better fitting vaccine, and millions of people will be going unvaccinated and more likely to die from the disease itself.
Take a coin out of your pocket, flip it 21 times, and you'll die if it comes up the same every time, or get a dollar if it doesn't. Would you take the risk? I would. - +1 y
You have the right to take the risk... you dont have the right to force or persuade others to take it. Its that simple.
Since the governments are indirectly forcing people to take the vaccine by forbid them from travelling without being vaccinated and so other ways, you have people like me who say fuck that. Thats not right and not fair.
You can play numbers game as much as you want but at the end of the day, many people who are not elderly dont wanna take the vaccine cause they dont have to. Im not afraid of the virus as a young man.
And people should have the right to CHOOSE especially when there are many problems with the vaccines. - +1 y
- +1 y
@HateMetaL89 I still have to give the edge to your thinking rather then getting all this stuff (literally) shoved into us.
Six women out of seven million administered vaccinations. And that's just in the USA.
Contracting Covid-19 is about ten thousand times more likely to kill you than the vaccine. Even if it doesn't the long term effects of a serious case of covid can be devastating. Covid left me in a coma for 3 months and so physically weakened that the only way to save my life after I'd finally beaten the virus was to amputate my right leg below the knee because antibiotics don't only go to the site of the infection, and the impact on the rest of my body would have been fatal.
Have the vaccine. Wear a mask. Sanitise your hands. Social distance.
My right to life is a basic human right. You don't have the right to endanger other people's lives because of your selfish stupidity.
The vaccine isn't how the government tracks your location. The GPS in your phone is. Your credit card purchase history is. The traffic cameras photographing your car is. Your social security number tells them where you work, what you earn, where you live, your date of birth and if you're married or single. Your medical records tell them your blood type.
If you don't exclusively eat food you grew yourself on land you farm organically using compost you generate yourself you don't have the right to refuse the vaccine because you "don't know what's in it". List every ingredient in the burger you ate recently - including all the feed and antibiotics given to the cow and the fertiliser used to grow the salad, plus the exact ingredients in the ketchup, mayo or "special" sauce on it. If you can do that on a molecular level then you can try to justify not knowing the ingredients of the vaccine as an excuse.
But not before.50 Reply
+1 yMore than seven million people in the United States have received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine so far, and there have been six cases of the blood clotting issue.
Meanwhile more than half a million people have died from COVID in the US.
Can you understand why people question the "logic" of anti-vaxxers?
Look, we all realize there is a small risk to taking a vaccine. But it is nothing compared to the risk we ALL face if society doesn't vaccinate. What pisses me off is the people who want it both ways... they want to benefit from the herd immunity that will result from widespread vaccine administration but they don't want to take on the personal risk and responsibility of doing their own part in that equation.
To all you anti-vaxxers out there I say you're welcome. You're welcome for the privilege of being an anti-vaxxer that is afforded to you by the rest of us who actually do our part.60 Reply
+1 yDenmark became the first country in Europe to abandon use of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, after the country and more than a dozen other European Union nations suspended its usage.
Denmark’s health agency director, Soren Brostrom, said Denmark won’t use the shot as part of its vaccination campaign—even as the World Health Organization (WHO) and EU’s European Medicines Agency (EMA) have said the benefits of using the AstraZeneca shot outweigh the negatives amid reports of rare blood clots.
“Overall, we must say that the results show that there is a real and serious side effect signal in the vaccine from AstraZeneca,” said Brostrom in a statement. “Based on an overall consideration, we have therefore chosen to continue the vaccination programme for all target groups without this vaccine.”
Noting that it’s been a “difficult decision” to make, Brostrom said the “upcoming target groups for vaccination are less likely to become severely ill from COVID-19,” and officials “must weigh this against the fact that we now have a known risk of severe adverse effects from vaccination with AstraZeneca, even if the risk in absolute terms is slight.”
Danish officials previously said that two people who had received the vaccine against the CCP virus suffered from severe blood clots. One of them died, they said last month.
The CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus is also known as the novel coronavirus.10 Reply

That's probably less people who have this problem than you would get if you picked seven million people AT RANDOM who didn't get the vaccine! And they can't even prove the vaccine had to do with ANY of these cases (not that 6 cases would make any difference even if it did... more people die from ASPRIN every year!).
This is a JOKE. You don't shut down a vaccine because 0.00001% of the people who got it died. And you can't even say that is WHY they died or if the vaccine had anything to do with it.
Sorry, something else is going on here and it's not science. It's evil politics.
The Democrats are trying to make people scared of the vaccine TO PROLONG THE PANDEMIC. They sided early on to support this communist Chinese WMD terrorist attack and they are still doing their bidding. They are using the Chinese WMD virus as an excuse to TAKE AWAY YOUR FREEDOM AND CREATE AN AUTHORITARIAN ONE PARTY DICTATORSHIP just like the communists in China have. "The last sentence tho? Why would America hand the keys over the China? That makes no sense to me."
It's not America turning over the keys, it's the Democrats. The Democrats have thrown in with communism. They are in ideological simpatico with the Chinese communists and helping them weaken the United States so they can dominate us.
And Biden has received millions of dollars from the ChiComs. He is being paid off by China to destroy our energy supply with the fake Climate Change war on the only fuels that keep us alive... fossil fuels, destroy our jobs by raising the corporate tax forcing companies to lay off workers and cut their pay, cut our military so that the Chinese military can walk all over our interests around the world and we can't do anything about it and ultimately join with Russia, Iran, and North Korea to invade the US. This alliance is already happening. The Democrats are destroying our military. The Chinese Navy already has more ships than the US Navy and is threatening to invade Taiwan, a critical strategic partner of the US. The Democrats are using this Chinese WMD terrorist attack to help the Chinese successfully destroy our country. They opposed EVERYTHING President Trump tried to do to protect us from the attack... like shut down the borders and all travel to the USA when the virus broke out. - +1 y
"According to Sky News, the National Blood Clot Alliance in the US estimates that one in 1,000 women per year who are taking birth control pills will develop a clot, a risk a 0.1 per cent."

Being out in a storm> chance of being struck by lightning, 1 in 700,000

Dying in a skydiving accident - 1 in 100,000 !!

Danish officials previously said that two people who had received the vaccine against the CCP virus suffered from severe blood clots. One of them died, they said last month.
The CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus is also known as the novel coronavirus. - +1 y
Here's the thing - everyone knows we don't know "enough" about "it" yet. These vaccines were indeed produced in record time with as many trials as time permitted under the circumstances. No company producing the vaccines is claiming, or even intimating, that theirs is safe beyond reproach. There's a risk involved, and the information is available if you research it. There isn't time to do 5 years of studying a virus that is going to mutate anyway, and all of them were approved for "emergency use", i. e. a pandemic is an emergency.
Not to sound cold or harsh, but anytime a drug or vaccine comes to market, there were "an acceptable number of deaths and/or side effects" associated with that drug or vaccine. Any person who then takes that drug is subject to the possible side effects, including death, however rare that case may be. There's always a risk.
I can see why people are and it does cause me to shrug my shoulders.
I have had several major operations and other medical procedures over the years. In a lot of ways I'm numb to roll of the dice that is many medical procedures. So it's not that I don't see why. It's more a case of it being another roll of the dice and understanding that something can happen. People are fully allowed to be hesitant to get vaccinated or refuse to do so. Just understand that it is a roll of the dice if you do or don't. Much like getting a vaccine and many other medical procedures.11 Reply- +1 y
Agree!! I had back surgery in 2006 which came with a zero percent guaranty it would do anything... It was a roll of the dice as you say
That's just the tip of the Iceberg.. By January 18th the VAERS report system had recorded over 7000 Covid Vaccine injuries, and 181 deaths from the Vaccine.. It's much more by now.. And VAERs only reports 1% of bad affects by vaccines since it's a passive report system dependent on the people affect to report it themselves.. Not to mention the companies who made the vaccines are attempt from any responsibility of injuries the vaccines cause.. So if these people really cared about our safety they wouldn't have cast safety net for themselves in case their products killed or harmed people..

I’m very aware.. You’re wasting your time explaining this to Complete Morons. Most are uneducated and trust whatever any government tells them. Total lemmings. I’ve tried to explain the dangers and the definite outcome of these untested ( Gene Therapy’s). Its no use. I’ve decided that culling the bread is the goal from billy gates and his ilk. Maybe they’re right. Do we really need these stupid people on our earth? No! So... Just tell them to take the shot.. They’ll all die , be sterilized, or develop some sort of an autoimmune response.
Change tack and beg them to take the shot of death !!! 😆😆😆😆😆☹️ - +1 y
Or what they’re told..🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
+1 yI don't know how many times did I get the flu shot in the past and still got the FLU? At least twice that I know of so... vaccines are not the end all be all no matter how you choose to view them. Staying healthy, having a strong immune system I think will always be the best route to go.
45 Reply- +1 y
Agree! I stopped getting the flu shot for that very reason cuz my job forced us to get it and I got the flu and missed work from both jobs I had at the time. Was suppressed to get flu shots every year cuz of my hubby's compromised immune system, but I didn't and never got the flu.
- +1 y
Try not getting no vaccination against any poxes. See where that gets you.
- +1 y
@s2firestar I got all my shots when I was younger and the ones I needed when I was older. If getting the flu shot gave me the flu and getting the flu could've killed my husband, yeah sorry that wasn't a risk I was willing to take... And that in 13 years of not taking it, didn't get the flu or give it to my husband, so 🤷🏼♀️

You are going into woo territorry. This shows you don't fully understand how covid vaccines work. They don't give you the disease. However, they will occupy your immune system. If you are already infected, it will break it out. Also, they don't prevent contracting covid. It will make your body able to defeat it fast and without adverse side effects.
- +1 y
I don't blame you, because you are not a microbiologists. But you should read the actual papers, not rely on media.
Further proof that you can't cheat death. When your hour is up you're gone.
Vaccine no Vaccine face mask a helmet, staying in going out. They all don't ammount to much when constant risk of death circles around us all the time.
The food we eat the water we drink the streets we cross all can kill us at any time.
For over a year the world torn it's own foundation apart in fear of death and for what? We all die it's just a question of when what we can do is live life to the fullest.
I thinl this is the hardest lesson this pandemic has taught us: even the most stable and constant things in life are fleeting and we should take it in while we have the chance.20 Reply

u +1 yI understand the argument but consider this. According to the National Institute of Health, "the reported incidence of venous thromboembolism in users of oral contraceptives is about 0.06 per 100 pill-years." www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/.../
That means that for every 100,000 women who use oral contraceptives for an entire year, six of them will develop some form of venous thromboembolism. According to the CDC, in 2018, there were 9.1 million women in the US using oral contraceptives. That means that there were approximately 5,460 women in the US who developed blood clots in 2018 as a result of using oral contraceptives.
So far, I believe that there have been 6 reported cases of blood clots associated with the J&J vaccination.12 Reply- +1 y
Correction: That means that for every 100,000 women who use oral contraceptives for an entire year, SIXTY of them will develop some form of venous thromboembolism.
+1 yThe very hasty rollout , the way they are HEAVILY pushed , this " vaccine passport " BS , which is attempted medical apartheid , and a high percentage of adverse side effects , should ring alarm bells. All for an illness with 0.3% fatality rate at the most. It's a NO from me.

"Over 92 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through March 8, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 1,637 reports of death (0.0018%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine."
That's a lot lower than the death rate for COVID itself.
I understand the hesitance to get a quickly created vaccine. I'm a little nervous myself, but let's not act like it's a higher risk than the virus itself, because it's not.
+1 yYup: I believe that Operation Warp Speed by Trump was a good measure to get vaccines available quickly, well done.
But do I blame someone for saying "Hey, you just shut off half the safety measures on that ambulance to make it go faster, I don't think I want to get in as a passenger now."? Not at all.
I would recommend vaccination to anyone who faces significant odds of death from the Wuhan Flu, if you're 80+, have underlying conditions, etc; then the risks of vaccination are likely outweighed by the benefits. If you're young and healthy at present, waiting for more data on the vaccinations is the cautious move to make.20 Reply791 opinions shared on Trending & News topic. No. Don't be daft.
People die in car accidents because air bags suffocate them, or seat belts cause internal injuries. It does not mean they must disable both at all times. The few that are unlucky to be injured are a small proportion compared to the many who are saved by them.
In the case of the vaccines, it's not likely to be the vaccine itself that is the issue. Rather a rare allergic reaction to one of the ingredients in the reagent itself. Hence the reason people with severe allergies are recommended to shield rather than vaccinate at the moment.50 Reply- 565 opinions shared on Trending & News topic.
+1 yi love how the german Robert Koch Institute (which is basically the german national version of the WHO) stated: "there will be deaths in temporal proximity to a vaccination. we will have to pay very close attention to distinquish between people that just happened to die after taken the vaccine and those that actually died "to" the vaccine"...
meanwhile that same institute is counting everyone that dies with a positive test as covid death.
it's like they actually know how shit works but they intentionally do it wrong and have a double standard to keep hyping the disease while also advertising for the vaccine.10 Reply
+1 yWhat makes it worse is that they know very well it is from the vaccine and still they keep fooling people that it was not from it!!! Excuse me! +1 yNO. This is not reason enough to be hesitant. You have a better chance of being struck dead by lightning than by dying from the J&J vaccine. If you get the vaccine you have one chance out of six million of dying from it. If you don't get any vaccine you have one chance in 660 of dying from COVID 19. Always go with the option that gives you the best odds. 1 out of 6 million is vastly better odds than 1 out of 660. I made a similar decision when I got cancer. The doctor warned me that chemo had side effects and that there was a 1 chance in 1000 that chemo would kill me. I asked about the odds if I didn't get chemo and he said there as one chance in 1000 that I would survive a year. I went with the chemo. That was 14 years ago. Two days ago I got my second pfizer vaccine. My only side affect was a few hours of soreness at the vaccine site similar to a mild bruise.

not surprised at all, hell I get into a lot of drama every time I bring this up in this site how bad that vaccine is. is funny how people who do research, ask questions and are reluctant over their health get labeled as "ignorant" nowadays but the people who believe everything they see on the news get praise for their so called "intelligence"
132 Reply- +1 y
@Tyrael it’s safe to say that you’re not woke at all.
The fatality these vaccines have been causing are well above 6 to 70,000,000. Of course you’re not gonna hear the news or wherever you get your info from tell you this. You also don’t know the real reason why this pandemic started in the place.
Therefore your one of the prime examples of the folks who get praised as “intelligent” for believing everything they hear in the news - +1 y
@Tyrael how did I lost my credibility when I haven't even put up any sources up? so anything that sounds like a conspiracy theory to you can automatically be dismissed as nonsense ey? oh well whatever wishful thinking that helps you sleep at night, I guess.
of course I not gonna upload any of the research I been doing on this conspiracy cause your mind is not capable to process any of it. you're probably gonna once again dismiss it as non credibility cause your mind can't handle the research I've done.
till then if you're so eager to be the government's lab rat then by means go put that shit in you and come back here and let me know if you haven't died, lost skin, become brain dead, had seizures and the list goes on. - +1 y
@CasaNorba Well it is a little silly to not upload your research. If it is solid and unrefutable I don't see how anyone could argue against it.
- +1 y
@CasaNorba Again you do nothing to improve your position. You have been nothing but snide, while providing no information to back up your position.
You say more people have gotten ill, you claim all these extremely dangerous side effects, yet you've shared no proof.
You can go ahead and think you're so beyond woke that I can't comprehend it, but all that does it make you look arrogant and does nothing to impress m anyone. - +1 y
@Tyrael you'll notice key word "second dose" which means wasn't the J&J vaccine as that's just one dose vaccine... You'll also notice they leave out which vaccine it was. Ask yourself why?🤔

966 out of 90 000 000 possible causes of death... - +1 y
@Chriscunning just because the database doesn't give that info, that also means you can't say they weren't linked to the vaccine..
The bigger question though is why people aren't hearing about that?
And people downplaying death of people and making their lives and loss of life a numbers game is horrible... Team that to the 9 year old who's mom died 4 days after getting her second dose... This post was not to downplay the seriousness of covid or even getting vaccinated. But do people not have a right to know what they're taking is safe and won't kill them or their family members? - +1 y
@Chriscunning again I haven't upload shit and he 's already telling me I have no credibility because supposedly what I said sounds like a conspiracy theory. do you think is actually worth the time sharing info with such knuckle head type of people?

@Chriscunning "966 out of 90 000 000 possible causes of death."
again that is what the news wants you to believe. the news is not God, they can lie and say the situation is not as bad to make us all get the vaccine like blind little sheeps - +1 y
@Tyrael you're in no better position, again you said I had no credibility when I haven't even uploaded shit which concludes that you suffer from the invincible ignorant fallacy and people like this are just not worth arguing with cause they will dismiss any solid evidence they hear.
till then what evidence do you have that isn't coming from the news? and yeah you are far more arrogant than I am since you claim I lost credibility when I did not even upload anything and impressing others is the last thing I give a fuck in this world - +1 y
@CasaNorba You can't share anything because you don't have anything to share. It's really as simple as that.
- +1 y
@CasaNorba Oh yes, what the news wants me to believe. Okay. So YOUR news wants you to believe there's microchips and death?
- +1 y
@Brainsbeforebeauty Sure, but just because the database doesn't list also doesn't mean it is connected.
I know a few people who have died from covid, I don't know anyone who has died from the vaccine. Covid cases are at 150 mil killing some 3 mil people world wide. Vaccines are at 450 mil potentially having killed 1000 people. - +1 y
@Chriscunning I got plenty of research but like I said sharing it with knuckle heads who suffer from the Invincible Ignorant Fallacy like you and @Tyrael is a waste of time explaining it to.
till then you dont actually need evidence to get to where I'm at. all you need is a brain with more common sense & logic and less fear & obedience. just remember...
- covid19 has a 99.99% chance of survival
- the flu has been killing thousands of people a year for centuries AND there are vaccines for it, so why are people still dying from it?
- there are other more lethal diseases that been killing MILLIONS for centuries like Cancer and Heart Disease yet why isn't the news telling us to panic over them? or better yet WHY aren't THERE VACCINES FOR THESE DISEASES? - +1 y
@Chriscunning and no the research that I done can't be classified as news because...
- They're not propaganda
- They are not funded by any government or the global elites.
- They are based on common sense instead of fear and ignorance
- +1 y
@CasaNorba It's really easy to share a piece of research. If I don't believe it we call it quits and agree to disagree. I am openminded to new info.
- Covid has a 98% chance of survival. It varies depending on age mostly, the combabilities.
- Flu does kill loads of people. I personally know i few who have passed from covid, no one from flu (as yet). Flu mutates far quicker than Covid. Also the reason why mumps, etc have vaccines because they mutate even less.
- Agreed, Heart disease and cancer are top killers. Heart disease is usually preventable by eating healthy and exercise. There are many treatment options but usually people are unaware of a serious problem (eg. hypertension, arrhythmias, etc.). Cancer is an alteration in your DNA. Immunotherapy has a 60% chance of making u survive. It is customized to your DNA, it's not a one tablet fits all. Covid is a one virus fits all. So to compare cancer to covid is slightly different, cancer is far more complicated. - +1 y
@CasaNorba Oh i see, so it's your own research.
- Sure some things are propaganda. But some things are also making you aware of an issue.
- If they are not funded, how are they getting their money? Because then it sounds like any research won't be truthful? Additionally any medical publication is scrutinized by worldwide professionals. So i do find it difficult for research to be biased.
- Well common sense tells me if I hear about covid and hear of people dying from covid that covid is a serious virus. I don't hear about people dying from flu. That is my common sense. My common sense also tells me when i have vaccines for flu and everything else i am still fine and don't get sick that often, so my common sense tells me it's okay. - +1 y
@CasaNorba I hate to point out the obvious, but it doesn't have to kill you for it to be considered dangerous for you.
And there's a big difference between that (which is debated within the health community) and every single medical professional lying to us about a vaccine against a deadly disease. Entirely different situation. - +1 y
@Tyrael if anything alcohol and many other pharmaceutical drugs are far more dangerous than marijuana yet for some odd reason the government hasn’t bother to make those drugs illegal like they have with marijuana.
And Covid 19 isn’t deadly at all. It’s survival rate is 99.99%. You will noticed that once you stop listening to the news - +1 y
@CasaNorba they've got to get their tax dollars. And marijuana had been made legal on several states now I believe.
Covid doesn't have to kill you, it just has to do damage necessary for something else to kill you. Which is what is very good at doing, and is why it's advisable to avoid getting it. - +1 y
@Tyrael damn you are more gullible and naïve then I thought. you really think tax has anything to do with marijuana being illegal for so many years?
"it just has to do damage necessary for something else to kill you. Which is what is very good at doing, and is why it's advisable to avoid getting it."
yeah like alcohol and other pharmaceutical drugs that your doctor prescribes you dont do any of that. - +1 y
@Chriscunning you pretty much just nailed your own coffin with what you said about cancer altering your dna. that is exactly what my research say this covid19 will do. and my research dont need any "funding" because they are not done by journalists that will say any nonsense to get their fund in their pockets. they been done by real people like me who already know our government aren't saints and know its plan on trying to depopulate us all
- +1 y
@CasaNorba Oh I see. So you run your own lab at home for your own research? You have the technology at your house to inspect DNA at a molecular level?
by the way, when cholera broke out 100's of years ago people believed governments were depopulating the world. - +1 y
@Chriscunning nope, you dont need a lab and no fancy equipment to detect bullshit. but what makes you think the news people dude? seriously I seen actors portray doctors and scientists in movies way better than the actors these news networks be hiring.

+1 yAs Hobbes (the tiger) so eloquently put it: "The real fun of living wisely is that you get to be smug about it". Being prudently cautious is not the same as caving to panicky fear, and now we have another demonstration of that. FDA approval is long, slow, and has an eye-wateringly high failure rate (about 98%, after an average 5 year long testing process; you're not paying six bucks for a twelve cent pill, you're paying for every drug that DIDN'T make the cut), but the alternative is a world full of Thalidomide babies. And now we have six cases, out of how many tens or hundreds of thousands, and it all shuts down? A FUD overdose is no joke, it seems.
Science isn't a doctrine, it's a process. I don't know why that's so hard to understand. But after months of being lumped in with Jenny McCarthy for demanding proper testing, and a year of watching people burn the world down in a frenzy of fear, all I can do is laugh to keep from crying.00 Reply
+1 yThe odds of dying from over the counter pain relievers like aspirin or Ibuprofen is over 140 times higher than from the vaccine.

+1 yI can see they may have fears of blood clots but so far it is working out to be one case in a million. BUT the numbers are not all in yet it may go higher. So far two have underlying problems such as morbidly overweight and heart problems. Time will tell all.

And that's it... What you just said! Time... I feel people should be given time to see the full risks versus positive results before being forced or coerced into getting the vaccine... Health and life is not something people should have to be forced to gamble with it should be their choice...
- +1 y
The other half of that is it can take up to five years to get test results. Now If we wait even a year to get test results how many millions would die. What you forget that you are free NOT TO GET THE VACCINE. That is your right as of now but Sleepy Joe Biden can try to change that in a heart beat with his EX ORDER. Anonymous(25-29)+1 yOkay, so let's see - over 500,000 dead in the US alone, 6 cases of blood clots reported out of ~6.8million who received the J&J vaccine. No, I can't see why people would rather not get vaccinated. Chances of having a blood clot from the J&J vaccine is what, maybe less than 1 in 1 million? Chances of getting COVID are much higher than experiencing severe adverse side effects from the vaccine. There are so many stupid, fear-mongering people in the United States. Please, educate yourself. I know countless people that have received the vaccine and they're all completely fine - just felt a little sick after getting their booster, as to be expected.
16 Reply- +1 y
Please educate yourself... You not anyone can still safely say there isn't long term affects. Nor did I say people shouldn't get vaccinated. But don't call people stupid if they're hesitant to get a vaccine that was rushed and pushed out quickly. And how many years and how many people used J&J powder before it was linked to cancer? Many years and many cases of cancer later.
Opinion Owner+1 yYou're trying to explain that to an epidemiologist, honestly that's funny. I know more than the average person when it comes to diseases & disease control. I will gladly call people stupid for refusing a vaccine that has caused numbers of deaths and positive cases to decrease drastically. There are long-term effects when it comes to just about everything we put in our bodies.
- +1 y
Without knowing what those long term affects are, it's people's choice what they put in their body...
Opinion Owner+1 yNo kidding? The vaccine isn't mandatory, so clearly they have a say in what goes in their body, but that doesn't make it any less stupid. Fear-mongering doesn't help, either. Creating and spreading misinformation doesn't help anybody. If people want to return to normalcy, then it's important to do what is asked of them to ensure that happens. If they don't want to be vaccinated, then they should at the very least obey mask mandates and social distancing, which a fair amount of people do not - specifically those against receiving the vaccine. This pandemic won't improve until people do what is expected of them and that's a fact. Even though the COVID vaccine was developed far more quickly than many other vaccines, doesn't mean it isn't safe - it was tested in clinical trials. The FDA has rigorous standards for vaccine developers to meet and they are still monitoring it. As I said, there are long-term side effects to many things, but that doesn't stop people.
- +1 y
"Creating and spreading misinformation"..
Now where did I do that? Answer=I didn't..

@Brainsbeforebeauty J&J powder has some research saying there is a possible link and other research saying there is no link at all. Just because J&J lost a court case doesn't mean it is fact (how many innocent people have been put away for crimes they didn't commit).
After using it 'for decades' it's hard to tell if it was genetics, processed meat, the sun, smoking, radiation, microwaves, pain killers, etc, etc that could've caused it.
I already could understand. I'm a bit nervous myself, but I'll get it to try to protect my high-risk mom.
What I don't understand is the people saying it's the mark of the beast & other insane stuff like that.11 Reply- +1 y
Me too. Because that's not how I feel... I've always been vaccinated and got my kids vaccinated. I just feel these vaccines were rushed and not enough is known about possible long term affects. They can't even give a time fain to how long it's affective for. II would feel more safe getting the vaccine if there was more concrete proof and not so much speculation. I think until more is known to the safeness and affectiveness, it should be individual choice and not a mandate or forced into receiving
When dealing with biology, rare reactions may occur. How much do you know your body?

@Chriscunning.. one day , when you’re very ill, you’ll think back to what I’ve written. You’ll say, he was right. I’m glad you got the shot!
- +1 y
@JamieLoves You didn't say when the therapy is going to kick in? I am also wondering why so many people who had it aren't sick yet. Since last year the initial trails of 80 000 people in May are still going strong. That's a whole year.
- +1 y
Gene therapy probably does damage a lot like radiation in small doses. The damage isn't apparent at first but 10 years later when you get riddled with cancer your fucked
+1 yFrom what i read the amount of these cases is pretty rare and its only J&J's vaccine thats doing this. the others aren't such as Phizer. so while i can get come hesitation, the media is kinda making it seem a little worse than it really is. I'm still gonna get my vaccine and im still gonna wear the mask and practice social distancing.
70 ReplyThat's exactly why I'm not getting the vaccine. I don't trust it. I read an article today from some doctor that it really isn't a" vaccine". It is actually a small dose of the virus so your body can get used to it so the symptoms won't be as severe as if you didn't get the "vaccine". Your body doesn't fight it off, you just get accustomed to having it in your body. Thanks, but no thanks. I'll take my chances by not getting the shot.

+1 yHeard about that yesterday. Keeping a closer eye on my dad now because he got his from Johnson and Johnson later Friday for a first dosage.

@ShadezMcgee yeah my one sister just got the J&J vaccine, just last week

No, but of the handful of cases that have actually been detected, most of them have been young women, so it looks like all other groups have an even lower chance of problems, doesn't it? (Conversely, if they make up 10% of those vaccinated, young women maybe have a 1 in 100,000 chance of problems, but that's still not the chance of dying, and still much, much lower than if they caught the disease. I'd happily take that vaccine, if it meant another dose of a different vaccine was available for a young woman.)
Have a look at this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Micromort
Things that give you a one-in-a-million chance of dying include:
Travelling 6 miles (9.7 km) by motorbike
Travelling 17 miles (27 km) by walking
Travelling 15 miles (24 km) by bicycle
Travelling 240 miles (386 km) by car
Travelling 1000 miles (1600 km) by jet
Travelling 6000 miles (9656 km) by train
In other words, you're as likely to die getting to the vaccination centre as from the vaccination, even if all those cases were due to the vaccine! - +1 y
@goaded data is still coming in. In terms of analysis and research, you cannot say one group is more susceptible than another this quick. You need to take into account people who got the Johnson and Johnson vaccine with this being the 1st dosage. This is where the problem was detected, between th first and second shot, which is why they paused it. Enough people got affected by it to cause a pause.
As of now, if what you say is true, young women are more prone per the data that has been received. You can't compare the results until they have been gathered and analyzed. At best this is the only supporting evidence so far, so pump the brakes a bit and let's see what else comes in before saying it's namely just women, because that is very unlikely.
Now your stats. I personally believe you are getting way too into your own head here. These are all modes of transportation. Yes, you do have a chance of dying whenever you travel, but it's very unlikely. No more likely than dying in your sleep. On the job. Dropping a deuce. You can die at any time. Try making that justification to people who are hesitant getting the virus because of underlying conditions that could be triggered by side effects from the vaccine or not trust it after one major company for it is now on a pause for distribution. - +1 y
There is no second shot with the J&J vaccine.
I know it's all very unlikely, that's the point! So are the problems with the vaccine. Take a coin, flip it 21 times, and there's a one in a million chance it comes up the same every time. (Actually one in 1,048,576, but close enough!)
There has been less than 1 person per million who have had the vaccine and had the clot problem, and only one in six of them died. How sure are you that they wouldn't have had the same reaction to the virus itself?
Yeah I def can. Vaccine was rushed for sure. It's cause people aren't patient. I mean you could also look at it like that Pzier and Mederna don't cause clotting. Also you will always have some side effects with vaccines or pills. Although in this scenario I can see the fear as clotting can cause death.
12 Reply- +1 y
FFS, thousands are dying every day, of course it was done as quickly as possible!
@blondfrog one in 7 million! Flip a coin 24 times and get the same side every time; that's about the possibility of dying.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI am more concerned about the woman who fainted and to this day is rumoured to be dead from the vaccine. Her instagram account is inactive to this day.

And exactly how "concerned" are you?
- +1 y
@loveslongnails She's obviously not trying to avoid a bunch of moron stalkers.

Why spread lies? What do you gain? This bs was debunked a long time ago, doof...

Opinion Owner+1 y@supercutebutt they always use that word "debunked" I wonder why she hasn't been on tv to say she is well
- +1 y
@supercutebutt last time with the insults! One day you'll learn how to conduct yourself like a responsible adult! Till then bye now!
Opinion Owner+1 yok why has she not ever said on tv she is fine?
- +1 y
Maybe she doesn't want to. Maybe she doesn't want the publicity. Could be any number of things. But the fact she didn't go on TV doesn't mean she's unwell. Think of it this way - if you go up to a couple and ask one of them "do you cheat on your partner", and they say "go fuck yourself", that doesn't automatically mean "yes, I do" because they didn't answer your question. It means - go fuck yourself.
Opinion Owner+1 y@loveslongnails ok. she fainted does that worry you? they tried to get the cameras out of there
- +1 y
Did you read that Newsweek article? "it is false to say that COVID vaccines have caused 966 deaths, because the VAERS database is not designed to give this information"
Apart from anything else, 27% of over 85s die in a given year, that's about one in a hundred every fortnight. It's unsurprising that after months of vaccinating as many as possible, hundreds have died.
Opinion Owner+1 y@goaded the woman fainted on tv and hasn't uploaded on instagram since. Did you see that?
Opinion Owner+1 y@goaded so fainting is acceptable
- +1 y
Every individual will react differently. Some won't react at all. If fainting were the worst thing that happened to anyone, it would be completely acceptable, so yes, it's a reaction within acceptable parameters.
- +1 y
She explained she has a condition where faints when she feels pain. What does that have to do with the vaccine? It wouldn't have mattered what kind of shot it was. Please stop trolling.
Opinion Owner+1 y@I_Can_Help so it happened just after she got it?
Opinion Owner+1 y@I_Can_Help ok you believe this crap? why has her instagram account been inactive to this day
- +1 y
People who can never admit that they are wrong about something are terrible. You are a negative force on this planet and you should feel deep shame.
- +1 y
@I_Can_Help That's their superpower: lack of shame.
- +1 y
And you don't believe her own words BECAUSE her IG account is inactive? This isn't good enough for you? You're an idiot then, plain and simple.
+1 yNot really. It's single figure numbers of clots against millions of jabs. Obviously it is awful if you're one of that tiny number, or your loved one is, but that would apply to 99% of all medicines, vaccinations and surgical interventions out there. Why should the reaction to fatal events from vaccines be so much greater than the reaction to fatal events from insulin, or aspirin, or general anaesthetics, or simply falling in the bath at home? The numbers speak for themselves.
+1 ySo there is a 1 in a 1,000,000 chance of bad things happening with a vaccine. There is like a 1 in 10 chance bad things will happen with covid-19.
The math is pretty easy to understand. There is a teeny tiny risk with the vaccine. There is a MUCH GREATER risk NOT getting the vaccine.
Life is an odds game. Play the odds. :)03 Reply- +1 y
And you know this how! You don't have proof of those statistics... People that worked on those vaccines don't know the long term affects they could have on people, so you shouldn't pretend to yourself...
- +1 y
Be nice to me. I am a smart person. Stop demonizing the smart. There used to be a time in America when smart people were respected. Then the dumb took over. That's what was so damaging about the Trump era. If we don't wise up soon, we will be doomed as a society. :(
- +1 y
How am I not being nice? Did I insult you like you tried but failed to insult me? If you see not agreeing with someone as not being nice don't know what to tell you 🤷🏼♀️
I'm simply saying you don't have the full facts on what the long term affects of these vaccines could be. Nowhere did I state of people should or shouldn't get vaccinated... But I do believe until more is known it should be people's personal choice and not something forced upon them... And please stop with the smart/dumb stuff... Just because people have different views than you don't make you smarter and them less... And also really smart people don't have to "tell people" how smart they are... Real intelligence is seen not just heard 🤷🏼♀️
+1 yNo I do not understand why.
Some birth control has more cases of causing blood clots than the J&J vaccine, yet women aren't hesitant to take birth control.
It's all political, not logical, every vaccine has risks. One just has to weigh the risk of the side effects with the risk of the disease being treated by the vaccine.17 Reply- +1 y
And maybe I don't want to rework this comment to say "some women " because equally some women are hesitant to take the vaccine so it doesn't have to be said.
The reason one doesn't want a vaccine is not important to anyone but the person making that choice. - +1 y
And you don’t have to, ‘might’ is a suggestion, not an obligation or command. I’m not disagreeing with your statement as a whole. However it’s important to be clear when trying to get your point across with matters such as this because it sounds like you’re suggesting that all women are hesitant of the vaccine and that isn’t true.
- +1 y
I could see your point if I said "all women" but I did not. The absence of "all" should be clear that it is some.
I am very deliberate and thoughtful about my opinions. I hope I have made myself and my opinion more clear for you. I do agree with you that one should be clear in their statements and I thought I was. - +1 y
In the past, I didn’t realize the presence of “all” or lack thereof made a difference in my statements either. Still, it’s a regularly reoccurring point that I’ve encountered though, and adopted in turn because of this. Like I once had a guy on here completely lose it because I said “men”, not “some men”, and that wasn’t the first time lol. So yeah, just a suggestion. If you disagree that’s totally fine, do your thing.
- +1 y
The difference between yourself and I is that I don't cater to petty people.
+1 yMost people are hesitant and against vaccines for all sorts of reasons.
Its not like the read a research paper, carefully taking a look at potential risks and problems,
they watch a 10min long video where a dude in a tinfoil hat explains how vaccines turned his family into reptiles and how this benefits the jews in the government.10 Reply
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yJust a week ago my country’s “experts” were on the news talking about how the clotting wasn’t significant and that it was just a coincidence. Oh so when someone dies with covid, it’s no coincidence, it’s 100% covid, but when they get a blood clot with the vaccine, the vaccine is totally innocent yeah?
anyone who believes the mainstream narrative on this is shit for brains, period. This is about money and control30 Reply
+1 yThat's a one-in-a-million chance of vaccine complications, as opposed to a one-in-ten-thousand chance of contracting a deadly virus (that you could then spread to others). So no, I still don't understand the hesitation
40 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yNo because the hesitancy was based on paranoid hysteria, and conspiracy theories, not facts or science.
7 million people got the j&j vaccine (including me). 6 people had blood clots which may or may not have been because of the vaccine. No one knows yet. But those odds are greater than 1 in a million.46 Reply- +1 y
Enough to put it on hold, so that's not nothing
Opinion Owner+1 yThey put phizer on hold in some countries in Europe because of blood clot fears too. then they resumed vaccination when they saw the vaccine had nothing to do the the blood clots and they occurred at rate consistent with how they'd appear in a non vaccinated population.
The result with the j&j vaccine will likely be the same.- +1 y
Hopefully
Opinion Owner+1 yThe technology in the j&j vaccine is based on a similar vaccine they developed for ebola that went through 10 years of testing before it was approved. The only difference really is the genetic instructions in the adenovirus.
- +1 y
You do realize tho that they put out medicine they say is safe, and years later it'll be recalled, linked to deaths or cancer?
It's happened more times than it should... And it's cost people their lives
Opinion Owner+1 yby the way the number of people who got the j&j vaccine and got these blood clots (cerebral venous sinus thrombosis) is 1 in a million, which is lower than the number of people who get cerebral venous sinus thrombosis in the normal population every year at 5 in a million. They'll probably conclude there's no correlation.

+1 yIn this one case, I understand hesitant people. But not with normal vaccines.
The problem is the lack of testing and rushing.25 Reply- +1 y

- +1 y
And honestly, I admire the Sputnik. They published a lot of details about the dangers of it. You can at least make an informed choice.
I would never trust china, because their fault is this entire shit and they did everything to make it worse. Who is to say their vaccines are not for this purpose, or just a ripoff. - +1 y
"The problem is the lack of testing and rushing. "
Well, except no vaccine ever gets tested on millions of people (which is what you need to show up more than one or two instances), and the effect is fairly quick, so spending longer wouldn't have detected it, either.
I read you're as likely to get clots from a long-haul flight. - +1 y
Oh god.
First, as a pilot myself, I refute your blodclotting argument. You can't stand up in a military jet, yet I'm still alive.
Normal vaccines get tested in several distonct phases and get authorised in sometimes as much as 5-10 years. So while you don't test it on tens of millions, you can get a long term overview on the effects. Since covid is also a special bitch about how it kills you, the vaccines themselves can cause a shitload of issues (I am talking about the overreaction of the immune system). - +1 y
Oh god. You do not understand what one in a million is really like. It's tossing a coin 21 times and getting the same side come up every. single. time. Besides, aren't military flight suits designed to avoid DVT?
Modern, "normal" vaccines also get tested on diseases that take far longer to affect people, and aren't killing people at the rate this one is. More people die in marathons every year than have from these vaccines.
in a "Rush" to prevent widespread death... testing was shortened... I understand that and I understand people deciding to not get vaccinated, I chose to get the vaccine. MY choice

+1 yIf you look at it rationally, probability of this happening is far lower than with e. g. birth control pills or the virus itself. Reasons people don’t get vaccinated relate much more to people being cognitively limited in terms of their understanding of the statistics as opposed to legitimate statistical fears that the vaccine would actually be dangerous.

@goaded
5,800 Fully Vaccinated Americans Have Contracted COVID-19, 74 Dead: CDC
Some 5,800 Americans contracted COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated against the virus that causes it, federal officials said Thursday.
The Americans got the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes COVID-19, despite getting two shots of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) told The Epoch Times via email.
Of the 5,800 fully vaccinated people who were confirmed as so-called breakthrough cases, nearly 400 required treatment at hospitals and 74 died.
A little over 40 percent of the infections were in people 60 years of age or older and 65 percent were female. A state-by-state breakdown was not available.
The figures were for cases through April 13.
More than 78 million people have been fully vaccinated in the United States as of April 15. - +1 y
All medicine, carries a problem when taken.
No matter what.
These vaccines are saving lives.

No, I don’t. Now what are the odds of getting Covid and having problems?
One in a million for the blood clotting issue is nothing compared to the death rate of Covid. 340 million in US would be 340 people with blood clotting vs 340 dead with Covid which is a slow Tuesday morning.17 Reply- +1 y
The death rate of people who have actually died from Covid and really small too. The CDC reports a 99.6% recovery rate from Covid now. If you are elderly or have health risk factor, maybe it’s worth the chance on a new therapy like these gene editors (theyvare not vaccines), but if you are not in that category, I don’t see the point in taking it. Especially since taking it does not prevent the spread.
- +1 y
@MasterOfReality and yet hundreds of thousands dead in the US in one year. Thousands a day at times. Good luck, there is a surge happening now.
- +1 y
We are going to find the numbers have been inflated. They were labeling every death IF a person had Covid as death BY Covid. Also, do you mean the surge in all the states that have strict lockdown and mask restrictions? Because the states that have been opened up and no restrictions (Texas and Florida in particular) now have declining rates..
- +1 y
@MasterOfReality That’s why I only said hundreds of thousands vs the reported number. 200 countries don’t shut down if it’s all nonsense. Iran has felt it’s sting keenly and they would help with a US fraud of an issue.

I apologize. I’m just so used to the hard heads pushing it down our throats.

The Trump administration. And if you remember Trump got COVID and was better fast!!
Don’t be a 🐀00 ReplyI can however i would make the following points to them.
1. It only 6 out of 7 million that 0.0000009% chance if it is just a random side-effect.
2. Pfizer and Moderna have out been for longer and has far more doses give out with no reports of possible unknown side-effects
3. If you face you fear getting vaccinated i will personally give you a thumbs up 👍02 Reply- +1 y
Recheck your facts between Moderna and Pfizer there's been 900+ deaths reported that have been NEITHER confirmed not DENIED to be a result of the vaccine... Point being, there's not enough REAL factual statistics our evidence yet how safe/affective these vaccines are... And until there is, people have a right to question the safety of what's being injected into their bodies... People's lives and health shouldn't be something to be gambled with
- +1 y
First i need to make a correction. I miss calculated the percentage of the population that got blood clots and received the J&J vaccine. It is 0.00009%.
Second i will grant to the 966 deaths even thought we don't have data to confirm if any of those deaths were causes by the vaccines. When look 966 out of 65 million doses that whopping percentage of 0.00149%. Call that a gamble with someones health and lifes that to have to call medical procedures a gamble with people's health. Hell you have to call anything a person dose and dosen't do a gamble with there health.
We know how affective they are pfizers and moderna about 95% and J&J is somethink like 65%
And we know how safe. We have data on 72 million doses be between the 3.
+1 yNope, I already got both doses of phizer. I had no symptoms, after the first dose. The second dose just a mild headache.
20 ReplyJust saying all vaccines cause blot clots... it's rare to happen. But a common side effect which we have know for a long time.
11 Reply- +1 y
I agree with the Update. Just blood clots are not a big deal. Don't matter now anyway the Government have been backtracking there news saying actually not this many died of covid just with covid and opening things up and relaxing now. Kinda like the government just wants to forget about it and put it under the rug. Knew this day would come.
Anonymous(30-35)+1 y987 people died of covid yeterday, alone. Of the seven million people who have received in the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, 6 women may have died from a rare occurrence caused by the vaccine. So no, I don't understand why some people are hesitant to get vaccinated. I expect that everyone should know how to count and understand than 900 per day is much more than 6 over the course of month.
