No because it cannot stay in the Air Force years.
Engines suffer from wear and fatigue, they need replaced.
Engines also have a love hate relationship with birds.
Lightening strikes on aircraft can damage equipment and also aircraft skin.
Oil used in systems needs replaced, such as Hydraulic oil.
Water and oxygen systems need serviced.
food needs replenished, waste tanks need emptying, unless they plan to drop tons of ice on to areas below.
Electronic. Systems fail and need to be replaced.
then there is hospital for injuries and births, dental, morgue for deaths, police for usual stuff,
a visit to a nuclear submarine pre voyage is an eye opener on how much stuff they need to cram in.
An aircraft usually has a serving schedule similar to the below.
Primary (scheduled servicing based on low flying hours)
Minor (based on higher flying hours)
Major (based on higher again flying hours and backstop of days).
The number of “staff” from engineers, to doctors, dentists, cooks, cleaners etc, would be like trying to keep a cruise ship at sea and they cannot be at sea too long as they run out of food etc,

This is a joke right?
I mean if it just stayed in air for years, how would you get on it and what would it offer you that any other hotel or luxury hotel on the ground would not provide at less cost?
Just think about the logistics that would be required to run that type of operation... the operating cost would be astronomical.
No I don't think I would go, but I said undecided because I don't think I fully understand the concept, or how it would be beneficial. And is a joke right?
I mean if anything ever went wrong, you can't just land anywhere in the middle of a nuclear melt down. At least on the ground you can jump in car and star driving. Up in air, well you'd have find parachute and jump i guess. The environmental hazards associated with a flying nuclear reactor... this a joke right?
Ew no. All that reused air ( yeah I know HEPA filters are a thing ), potentially reused water, no ability to escape if there's a highjacking on board or if someone decides to make the hotel "disappear" like that one Asian owned airline back in the mid 2010s. Hell nah!
Id definitely watch videos on youtube showing tours of the rooms and so forth. Some things dont need to be experienced and I feel this is one of them 😆
Thats gotta be bad for your head/health being in the air that high for that long with all that pressure

Any machine with moving parts will require some degree of maintenance. Staying up for years is science fiction. Extended stays in the air will limit a person from landing, in case of emergency or if they find they can't handle the experience. This is something that will never become reality.
There was some idiot talking about this on the radio the other day.
Essentially it seems to be an absurdly over engineered airship with none of the benefits of an airship being marketed in an age where there is no practical application for an airship.
The minds behind this invention make Thomas Midgely look like a singularity level AI.Hell no! This seems like a "Titanic/Snowpiercer"-esque plot of a movie starring Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans. The moment organized criminals show up, or some eco-terrorists wanting to blow up the thing show up, you're all SOL.
I'd have some serious reservations. Given the amount of radiation flight attendants absorb pretty much constantly, I'd be worried about the long-term effects of staying up for even a few days. I'd need more research.
If the same time money and effort were used to find cure for differently deadly diseases it would be great.
Humans off lately have been motivated to do things which are not required. The earth, animals for god sake are suffering and we chose to ignore this?
As they say, this only unwanted discoveries are created to dig our own graves!I think someone else posted something onit if I'm not mistaken but could be wrong. So. eone said it has been around since the 1970s.
Would there be a predetermined amount of daya you are on it for or can you pick how many days you want?
How much would it cost?
I would like to know how much it weighs when it is ready to go without people on it?Look at that thing. LOL
If there was such a thing, I wouldn't be all that intrigued because it's like a flying cruise ship and I'm not too interested in those, either. However, it would be fun to fly long distance on a jumbo jet that nothing but first class accommodations private bedrooms, spacious showers, a dining room and bar with panoramic windows, kind of like a luxury train. Why not? A little radioactivity is all I need in my life. Maybe a radioactive spider bits me and I turn into Spider-man. 🙄
Oh Hell NO & as they say whatever goes up must come down & a plane that big will make a big boom. I rather live on a starship.

If it existed and it stayed aloft for years, how would you know whether the mechanical systems were good when you finally decided to land?
That's a big waste of money. I can find more useful things to spend money on
And someday the passengers would hear the announcement that the pilot has been dead for years!
It would be like a flying cruse ship and a cruise ship really does not appeal to me. Too many people crammed into a little space is not my idea of fun.
To me, ''luxury'' is NOT to be restricted in my movements and my daily choices of activities.
An entertainment prison? - Thanks, and no.Yuck! I can honestly say I've gotten a better night's sleep in a Motel 6 than I've gotten in first class on planes. Why anyone would want to be in a plane for one minute longer than they absolutely had to is beyond me.
That sounds super awesome yes I would very much like to do that when can I go
Nope sure wouldn’t! Unless I have somewhere to go I see no point in being above ground. I’ll stay in a luxury hotel on the ground please.
That thing looks like its gonna crash as soon as it gets off the ground💀
I am not a hotel guy type. Even when i am on vacation, i am barley at the hotel, just for sleeping. So staying in/on an airplane hotel will limit me by just staying on board.
It seems cool. I certainly will not, lol. I can handle heights, but not sure about this.
