Will you be watching the queens funeral?

I remember staying up to watch the funeral of Princess Diana.

When her coffin was wheeled out the silence was broken by a single wail from a woman.. the whole crowd started sobbing. Definitely triggered me too, in another country at the time.

The queens death is not as shocking, but is historical.

Will you watch?

Probably not.

Nothing against Her Majesty, but I'm already organizing my sister's funeral and after that I don't want to hear or see something of the like for a couple of months at least. Between her, my father, my grand-uncle and my mother's partner, I think I've had my fair share of funerals this year.

I might take the day off from work to watch it.
I watched Diana's funeral 25 years ago and it was something.
I can imagine that Queen Elizabeth's funeral will be even bigger and more pompous.

I did see a moment where Charles and camilla were sat together and he looked teary eyed but some random man was talking about her...
Without sounding bad what an awful experience do these people really know the queen to be talking like that! Ugh!

I will as much as I can. I will have at least two funerals of my own to tend to that day.
If “Amazing Grace” is part of the program, I’ll be muting the sound for that portion. I hate that song.

Yes I don’t know why but the Royal family always is on my mind and I don’t know why but I cried when I heard I knew it was coming but it hit me like a ton of bricks
