Why do lots of guys pretend like pedos are a liberal thing? The only grown men that have tried to be creepy and touchy with me have been very religious, very conservative men who were always so obsessed with constantly denouncing creeps and pedos when my parents or adults were around but then when they thought I was vulnerable or they had the opportunity to be creepy with me, they did. I think it’s more so just a slandering campaign to make others hate even the thought of interacting with left-wing politics in order to increase the tribalism within the right-wing, typically of the United States. @SwellStroke I appreciate that you don't like the political landscape because I think it hurts us more than benefits us to but there really is just one group throughout history and especially recently it seems that has gone on mass misinformation and false accusation campaigns to slander and character assassinate any political opposition. That group tends to be conservative, Republican voters, often religious. My main point is that they often obsess about pedos and creeps with no evidence yet they excuse and ignore for political reasons the people they like that are creeps and pedos which trivializes the issue in my opinion.

@SwellStroke I understand that there is obvious divisiveness to try to keep the working and middle class divided against itself so the 1% can easily reign in control, that and politicians are inherently needing to be corrupt in order to get the vote in the first place via being funded by business owners or other such (CGP Grey’s “Rules for Rulers” video explained that easily), but it’s hard to actually fight against that push when they have so much more resources to spare in order to keep that fight going while ours is dwindling.

So it’s much more sustainable to make it at least attempt to happen gradually by instilling politicians that at least aren’t trying to sink our ship because of their platform literally being built upon contrarian politics against progression.

After all, winning the vote of the people is the name of the game. It’s easier to do so when your goals align with each other, no? Why not work on the same issue so you are able to remain in a powerful position? That’s why I actually like the left more, at least they aren’t actively trying to make sure I get sent to a concentration camp for existing.

I do however agree that the party system is flawed with its inherent tribalistic tendencies and attitudes, though. What we could actually get done if we weren’t trying to focus all the votes into a platform to ensure we get a piece of what we want and instead actually deciding what we want fully and voting accordingly.
