Last week, I was on vacation in Zurich, Switzerland with a few of my friends from college. One day, we were waiting for a ferry when this girl approaches me asking me to take pictures of her with her mom and sister.
After taking the pictures, she asks me where I’m from. I told her USA and she told me that she studied in San Diego for about a year until she had to come back to Switzerland. I asked her why she had to come back and she said it was because her mom forced her to. Her mom turned to me and said she can come back now. But the girl said she wanted to move to Serbia.
My friends joked that she was my new girlfriend and said that I should’ve asked for her Instagram. I didn’t want to ask because her mom was right there. Should I have asked? Would you make a move when someone else’s parents are around?
