The person is convicted and the court will be hearing the motion to set aside and have a new trial on February 2 at 1:30pm
So the new trial was granted? Or is the Feb 2 date to determine if it will be granted
Feb 2 is the hearing to see if a new trial is ordered. Has not happened yet.
The court date being pushed back.
They were already convicted guilty by a jury
He got a new trial
He motioned for a new trial. I don’t know if he will get one. Seems like maybe a hearing on it
Yeah he’s trying to get a new trial
But it also looks like the sentencing is underway, first report yesterday?
@Curmudgeon you would have to call the court and ask them. A lot of weird stuff happens
Pre sentence report. But seems like he’s trying for a new trial later on. I’m not really sure.
