I dont want anything like cbt, I've believed all my life there has been something wrong with me like adhd or ocd. i have had cbt before and its gaslighting you into thinking emotions is bad. like overall not good for anyone, has anyone had anything good like a therapy style that has helped undiagnosed issues

There are several types of therapy that may be helpful for undiagnosed issues and may not be toxic like CBT. Some options include:
Person-centered therapy: This approach focuses on the individual's unique experiences and emotions, and aims to help them gain self-awareness and self-acceptance.
Psychodynamic therapy: This therapy approach is rooted in the idea that early life experiences can shape our current behaviors and relationships. It seeks to explore the unconscious roots of current issues and help clients develop insight and self-awareness.
Humanistic therapy: This approach emphasizes the importance of empathy, understanding, and acceptance in therapy. It aims to help clients achieve their full potential by fostering self-awareness and personal growth.
Existential therapy: This therapy approach focuses on the individual's search for meaning and purpose in life, and helps them explore their values, beliefs, and priorities.
To find a therapist in Northern Ireland who specializes in one of these therapy approaches, you can try searching online directories such as Psychology Today or the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). It's also a good idea to schedule an initial consultation with the therapist to discuss your concerns and treatment goals, and see if their approach feels like a good fit for you.
Thank you so so so much I have been looking everywhere!!!
