Hurricane Idalia made landfall Wednesday in Florida as a Category 3 storm and unleashed devastation along a wide stretch of the Gulf Coast, submerging homes and vehicles, turning streets into rivers, unmooring small boats and downing power lines before sweeping into Georgia.

Do you or your relatives reside in/around Georgia / Florida at the moment?

I feel terrible for the zoos in there!

I'd feel bad if some of the animals in the zoo had managed to escape and breed. The everglades are already full of invasive species like the Burmese python, Nile monitor etc. Imagine if salt water or nice crocodiles made their way into there or some other large snakes like anacondas, boa constrictors, cobras or black mambas
