It seems like COVID started it because all of our lives changed so drastically. Then Biden became president and America 🇺🇸 is a damn scarey place to live. When Trump was in office things seemed to be normal. Man! They're letting terrorists walk right into America to terrorize Americans. OMG!!!

Now Biden wants to bring manufacturing back while taxing them back out the door. Just think! If they were not taxed out of the door to find cheap labor in a third world country. Maybe they still would be here! My biggest fear is. What happens if there is WW3 and nothing is made here and we are not energy self sufficient? But Americans want cheap consumer goods and still paying everyone higher wages. This will be hard to accomplish in the USA! I am afraid that we haven’t seen the worst yet!

I recall President Trump wanted to start making our own steel in America 🇺🇸. But I believe that it needed parts from China, so there went that. 🤨.
I remember when items we would buy would say "Imported" but they never said from where ,🤔.

I don't normally get into political discussions because a lot of people state 'facts' that aren't even close to true and tend to spout more nonsense to support their case, but the president works under the executive branch, which enforces the law, and they don't have as much control as people think. Biden signed a relief bill that gives working families $1,400 to pay bills due to the pandemic, and I believe he issued another one for an even larger amount. It falls under the CARES act.

The number of U. S citizens contracting Covid-19 has decreased since Biden has been in office, but even if Trump was still in office, the numbers would still be the same. Biden has also brought 11 million jobs to the U. S, including 750,000 factory jobs, and the unemployment rate is down 50%. With the exception of the price of food being so high, this country is doing fairly well. News stations can be bias, and many people are misinformed on what is going on in the country. That's why I only read articles, and I only read articles from reliable sources. Unlike news reporters, journalists can actually get into a lot of trouble for printing false information.

Whitehouse. gov is a good site to read about what political figures have accomplished. Also, the Library of congress has a website with each president, and you can click on their names to read about their accomplishments. I'm not a fan of Biden either. I think he is too old and is slow, but he still accomplished some things. If the president had control over the gas prices and the price of food, I'm sure they would do something to help Americans, but unfortunately, the president works under the executive branch, and only has control over signing bills or making suggestions... and congress turns them down all the time. Especially because the republicans and democrats disagree on everything! I honestly believe if the politics in this country wasn't divided, more things would work out. Like Abraham Lincoln said, "a house divided against itself cannot not stand'.

Yes, COVID-19 helped destroy the United States of America (and the rest of the world). While the USA has beautiful scenery around the country, I wouldn't call many of the fascist policies (by the way, which are implemented due to Republicans) "beautiful". In all actuality, this country is a shithole, particularly for a first-world country. You want to know why COVID-19 was so devestating in the USA? Because in Donald Trump's first year as president, he eradicated Barack Obama's pandemic plan (believe it, or not, Obama had a plan for such a scenario).

Joe Biden has made questionable decisions, and should be criticized, but at least he's not facing nearly 100 indictments for crimes, and hasn't been impeached yet.

You really thought our country was "normal" from January 20th, 2017-January 19th, 2021(for those that don't know, that was the date range of Trump's presidential term)? I still wouldn't say our country is what I would call "normal", unless your definition of "normal" is bizarre, and the reason our country is arguably "normal" now is because this is the new normal.

In case you aren't aware of what they are, for instance - when President he was living in the White House BUT his RESIDENCE was in Florida at Mara Lago. So he had to send in an absentee ballot. No one ever talks about how many of them went out that we never heard about - right?
